2014+ Truck Bed / Tonneau Covers

Recommended Posts

Nice, can you take a pic of the hinge set up? I'm interested in seeing if it is similar to the one I had on my 2003 Silverado.

Sorry it took me a bit to upload the pictures. Here they are.

Got my cover, Lund tri fold soft top. It's exactly what I thought I was buying. Literally 5 minutes to install. I love the look, hate the bubble when it's riding. BUT, my father has always had covers like this one so I knew what I was buying and I'll live with it. If it wasn't so dang hot out I'd take a photo. I'll get on soon though.

Finally bought a much needed cover, I went with the Pace Edwards Bedlocker. I've had it for about 2 weeks and completely love it. The low profile is hard to beat and the remote stop at any location is awesome. Only downside is the PRICE...$2000 installed. Pics later.

There's currently only three electric covers on the market: Pace Edwards Bedlocker, PowertraxOne, and PowertraxPro. (The "Powertrax" covers are from Retrax.)

2Gs is salty, but it looks AMAZING. I'd love to hear how well it keeps water out of the bed.

After taking it through a "no touch" car wash 3 times, I've noticed very minimal water leaks into the bed coming from the top rear corners, where the cover meets the tailgate. Water on the cover goes into the canister and down the drain tubes. The small leak doesn't bother me at all, adding some weather-strip would probably take care of the issue. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a strong low profile cover. Compliments from truck owners at almost every gas station makes me forget the crazy $ I paid for it.

I stand corrected I was thinking of the titanium and said platinum.
