Way over your budget but I put on a FoldACover and worked in a BakBox underneath on a 17 Ultimate. Works great with the trimode steps.

Install was quick with no leaks.

Really satisfied ....now lets see how durability plays out.

I don't have the 2.0 but I have an original Trifecta.  The 2.0 is basically the same but built with updated vinyl, hinges, and seals so it should be a little better.

 

Mine has been great.  I had trouble with the first one curling up near the corners but Extang replaced it under warranty.  The replacement has been on for about 2 years now without any problems.  Just so you know -- the soft covers flap in the wind.  If you don't mind that (and the fact that somebody could cut through them if they wanted to) they are great.  Because you don't have seams at each hinge point like the hard covers they are less likely to leak (the soft ones actually have a longer warranty than the hard ones because of this).

I’m a fan of the Bakflip MX4 so far. Do you know about the cost of them?  Same as the MX4?  Id like a hard top cover that is low profile and folds to use the entire bed and I feel like there’s only 2-3 options, all of which being out of my price range.

I have an Undercover Flex tonneau cover and my question is: Is it the cover that's poorly designed or is the the way the tailgate fits up with the bed? I have tried several different fixes, including making the side seals longer, adding a tailgate seal and a bulkhead seal for the front bed rail without any luck. I'm attaching a couple of pictures that I took from inside the bed with the tailgate and the cover closed. You can see the daylight, and this is aggravating because I can't put anything in the bed that I don't want to get wet. Thanks.

How hard is the Bakflip to install?  Is it easy to remove totally as 1 person, and then put back on?

 

Where is best place to order? Everywhere seems to be $930 but I see people saying they got it for the 700 range.

I was able to install it in about 40 min.

It was not hard to me, I just followed the instructions.

However, I had a hard time finding anyone to sell it below $999.

But, I found one locally and made a deal for $850 since I wasn’t going to have them install it.

I wish I could have found it for $700!!

I really like it and it’s a little heavy for one person to lift, but it’s manageable.

I had one for about 18 months. It leaked water like crazy. I sold it and bought a tonnopro hard fold that keeps my bed much drier.
