Great customer service too! Accidentally ordered the wrong size 5’8” instead of 6’6” and they were awesome in getting it worked out.

Any other Tonneau covers you were considering? I am in southwest sun with occasional downpours. Looking for one that is easy to remove if i want to load my dirt bike but strong and secure if I am traveling and am storing stuff in the bed.

I considered all the others like Bakflip etc. but I went with the SolidFold because it doesn’t require a rail so when you remove it there is nothing left on the truck. For the two reasons you mention this lid fits the bill.

This looks like a really nice cover. Cooler to the touch than a painted metal cover is a plus for high elevation intense sun.

$859 free ship is best price I can find. Looks like Free set of Front Husky Floor mats Xact Contour or Weatherbeater. I would rather take an extra $100 off instead of waiting a month or two for mats to show up...

eBay has a couple at a lower price.  Search for Solid Fold 83450

Thanks for the help. I chatted with AutoAnything and they dropped price to $773.

Ordered.

More than I wanted to spend but looks like a nice, well built cover. I also like that the panels are insulated so I don't cook everything in the bed. Also the complete removal in seconds is a plus.

My MX4 showed up today and was waiting for me when I got home from work.  Weather was decent, so I installed it.  Not too bad of a job.  It did have to notch the corners of the GM drop in bed liner and drill holes in the liner for the drains.  It took a bit to get it adjusted, but seems to fit very well now.  If we get the rails/snow they are promising on Monday, I'll get to see how well it keeps the water out.  Looks are great and it arrived in good condition.  I was a bit worried about shipping something that big and heavy but they paid them really well.  I love the flush fit.  It got kinda dark on me, so I'll post a pic tomorrow.

That is a great looking cover, for some reason I haven't heard of it before.

Let us know how it does in the rain....I love the looks of it.

So far so good in the rain and 3 snow storms. Small tiny leak front right corner. Made an adjustment and all good.

Pretty straightforward install. Make sure to drop the side rail towards the cab on each side  by1/16”-1/8. If you don't you will have a small gap and won't sit flush. I had to make an adjustment. Hit me up if you have any questions.

New covers coming somewhere around April to July:

The current Truck Gear by LINE-X hard folding cover (which is much like a Bakflip Fibermax) will change to an MX4 model.  You get a lifetime warranty.

Undercover has a folding cover with painted panels to match your truck.

Another Truck Gear by LINE-X hard folding cover (don't know the name) which will have LINE-X applied to the panels.  Sometime after the introduction of the Truck Gear cover, Undercover's Armor Flex will be introduced which might be the same cover.
