As you can see the body shop did excellent work, and you can't tell that the truck was ever in a wreck!

I'd like to do the flares, but i don't think that they'll fit on the quadresteer bed.  Let me know if im wrong.   The HD hood is a great upgrade.  The hood runs $322 net, list price is higher, and it cost 400 and change to get it sprayed.

All of my existing hardware transferred to the new hood except for the insulation.  The noise level in the engine compartment is slightly louder, but wind noise decreased.

As far as lifts go, I lifted the front 5" with a spindle and a coilspacer, and the rear about 7" with a set of gm 1 ton leaf springs and 2" block off a 1500 4x4.  Overall the truck sits 7" over stock up front, and 9" over stock in back

yaounto, I like what you did with your frontend.  Have you considered getting the painted to match bumper matte off a suburban?  You can also get painted to match door handles and tailgate handle/bezel (door handles off a suburban or escalade with chrome) the tailgate handle/bezel comes off a sierra c3.  If your paint code is 47u (forest green metallic) the tailgate handle will match (it comes pre painted),  the suburban/escalade handles will have to be painted by the body shop.

I plan to add the 2500hd grille when I install (if i can find) a 2" body lift.  I have not been able to find one yet.

Nice looking truck. I like the hoods and the lights. Roof marker lights make a truck look like a truck. I want to get the lights installed under the tailgate on mine. If you cannot make a HD grill work look int a Sub/Tahoe grill. They look really nice on the Silverados.

Yes thats the Infamous and ever controversial Georgia State flag as seen in Smokey and the Bandit, and I'M PROUD OF IT :fume:

Im sorry I already threw away the receipt for the parts, but tell your parts man to look on an 02 or 03 chevrolet 3500 and look for the roof marker lamps.  You will need the lamps and the wire harness.  The harness runs about $75 but is well worth the money for the ease of installation.  I had the body shop mount the units, and I wired them in.

The harness runs from the driver's side roof lamp, across to the passenger side lamp.  It will continue down the passenger side cornerpost and will plug into the passenger side electrical center on the side of the dash. The connector is the lowermost on the connection block.  As a suggestion, route the harness completely before you push the tabs of the harness into the body.  As there is almost no extra length in the harness.

And make sure that you seal not only the hole for the wires, but the screw holes too, as those units leak like a sive.  Also, you might want to remove the white tabs that the screws thread through after the holes are drilled, as this will allow you to tighten down the lamps more and provide a better seal.  Be careful not to overtighten them though.

As far as the repairs went, I was able to make in$urance company pay for a whole new bedside, so all they had to do was paint it and go from there. :smash:  :smash:

And Last but not least, Thanks for the complements and suggestions.
