Here are Picture and Descriptions after Zip Tie. At full lock with my 275/65/20’s there was a few mm from the felt to the tire. Now with the zip ties in I have about an inch. Looks like even with wheel travel it will have even spacing up and down because of the square wheel wells.

I will be doing more drive testing for rubbing up and down curbs at full lock to see how it performs. I feel comfortable with my current spacing. Added 2in bigger tires losing 1in of space, added an inch with the zip ties, so it should all even out just fine.

Truck before and after.

I just got 285/65/20 BFGoodrich KO2s on my 14 leveled Silverado and they fit just right. Hardly no rubbing.

How are you guys fitting the 285/65/20’s? My 275/65/20’s are already so tightly in there. I feel like 35’s would be too close.

Can someone with 35’s or even 34’s send photos of the space they have? I want to compare to mine.

Being that close won’t you run when you turn and hit a bump?

Not at all man. I only hear it rub on full lock and it’s just rubbing the plastic inner wheel well.

Huh. Does that mean when the wheel moves with the suspension it only moves vertically and won’t move the tire even an inch forwards or backwards. I don’t know how it works so legit question from me.

I’m really close at pulling the trigger on a set of 285/60R20 Duratrac’s for my 2014 chevy 1500.  I’ve ordered a 2” leveling kit.  Am I asking for trouble or should I be good?

Thank you sir!!

I pulled the trigger and ordered the 285's yesterday.  just about everywhere I've looked and read online, says I should be good.  If not, i'll cross that bridge when I get there.  But it should look good!!
