Tungsten Metallic paint fans

Recommended Posts

Hello! I've had it for two weeks tomorrow and I love this color! :)

I was trying to decide between Summit and Brownstone until my wife and I saw a Tungsten in person and loved it.

It's crazy how much it seems to change in different lighting!

Very nice Yellow, I was going to get this color but my wife talked me into the brownstone metallic. We bought her a 2015 Highlander Limited this past December in a charcoal metallic so she "suggested" I get a different color not so close to hers. I do like the tungsten but I think the brownstone was a good choice. F-5

Looks Like My Iridium paint , why do GMC and Chevy name them different?

GM does this... for example

Dark Cloisonne Blue

Admiral Blue

Topaz Blue

All the same color and same paint code. Many examples of this in all GM lines through the years (and even in the same year, as in the "Tungsten" and "Iridium").

Another example...

Red

Victory Red

Fire Red

Chili Pepper Red

Blaze Red

All have the same paint code.

Awaiting running boards and in a few more 1000 miles ill get different tires. There is quite a few of the new chevys on the base where I work but havent seen to many CC standard beds, my buddy swung by to check it out, he has a 05 F350 and was amazed at how they finally offered the CC in a standard bed length, he thought it was a 3/4 ton at first
