I like the LEDs in the grille - do you have a post that describes the LEDs you used or the wiring process? If not, you should!!

The Led is Philip Led DRL 8. They are very simple to install.

You only need to connect 3 wires. (+) (-) and the other wire you connect to the factory running light.

Hey all, glad I found this forum. On New Year's Eve 2015, I bought a new 2015 Silverado 1500 LT, All-Star Edition, and absolutely love it. I would have initially preferred a white one, but the silver has grown on me and continues to. The only thing I've done so far, was had the black bowties put on the grill and tailgate. I think the black and silver go together nicely. Looking for opinions and advice here ... I'm having trouble deciding whether to trim everything else (door handles, running boards, etc.) in chrome or black. Chrome obviously compliments silver nicely, but there's something undeniably awesome, about mixing silver and black.

sailor - That looks awesome. I love the smaller wheels and bigger tires that are on the one you pictured, as well. I'm the last person who "needed" a pickup truck, but the fact is ... I'm done with these modern 4-door sedan cars, and their ridiculous big rims with low-profile racing tires. That was my entire reason for getting my first truck - going back to the luxury "big boat" ride. I had a 1991 Caddy Sedan DeVille back in the day, loved it. They don't make sedans like that anymore, and I would argue that these trucks, are the last vehicle left, that rides like the old boat-sized cars.

I'm not sure I'd ever need to "lift" the truck (no Z71 or off-roading for me - hello, I'm in Chicago, lol), but if I can get the smallest wheel with the biggest tire possible someday, that's what I'd prefer to do. The softer and smoother the ride, the better I like it.

New 2016 LT Crew Cab 4x4 to add to the gallery. The photos aren't really anything special but I wanted to take a few of the truck the way it rolled off the lot.

I've driven a dark blue truck for the last 15 years and decided to get either white or silver to hide the dirt and salt and to make it a little easier to wax in warmer weather. I was leaning towards white but opted for silver after seeing them both up close.

I have an appointment to have Line-x sprayed in on Tuesday and I have a Fold-a-cover G4 Elite ready to be put on after that. Let the fun begin!

Really nice - looks exactly like mine does off the lot, except mine is a 2015, so our front grilles are different, that's about it. I also initially wanted the white one and in fact, agonized over it greatly for a month, until I realized that, especially around here (Chicago), all of the white trucks just look like mainstream fleet and utility trucks, etc. That made me real happy that I have the silver truck. No regrets, all good.

Just over the weekend, I had gloss black wheel skins put on - looks good, but I need to plasti-dip the center cap and lugs. A month ago, I had the gold bowties taken off, and put black ones on. Silver + black = awesome. Next up, I'm going to gloss black plasti-dip the Silverado and LT chrome emblems. I'm also going to put the Texas Edition emblems on it. This truck came with the All-Star Edition package, which is the same as Texas, but doesn't have an emblem. Besides, the word "Texas" on the truck, will likely annoy people around here, which is totally fine with me, lol. Need to get black running boards and door handle covers, as well.

Hey I recently put the new style tow mirrors on my truck and am looking to vinyl wrap the chrome pieces to color match them. Has anyone used and found a wrap that is pretty close to the silver ice metallic color yet?
