How is the road noise/ride with these Hankooks now that you've ridden with them for a bit? They've caught my eye, great looking with a solid price.

Updated pics of my silvy with new high country grill, 22" CK156s rims and Hankook 305/45-22 ATMs, since last time i posted here

What kind of rail system/mounts do you have there? I have a Pace Edwards Bedlocker and I'm looking into something like that for my Kayaks.

I was hoping to find a mount that goes under the tonneau cover rails instead of replacing the rails with the Pace Edwards Explorer series.

I'm in, my last 2 Silverados were black, but I could not resist this truck when I saw itattachicon.gifimage.jpg

Did you add the Fender flares yourself or were they on the truck from the dealership?

I'm looking into those blackwidow flares instead of the flares that the majority of the trucks on here have. I'm not a fan of how other flares don't follow the lines of the truck. These look awesome and don't look like you have a fender flare on top of another one.

TX, those are aluminum 54" channel rails that mount either with expander bolts or regular bolts to vehicle rooftops, caps, or tonneaus. I got these from Rack Attack, though both Yakima and Thule now have them. http://www.rackattack.com/base-roof-rack-systems/permanent-custom-mount-roof-rack-systems/yakima-54-inch-track-hardtop-kit/

These were bolted through the rail caps and steel truck bed tops, but in the future can be removed and covered by just replacing the plastic rail caps.

These are very solid, and the rack towers/crossbars/gear racks can be removed from the rails with a matching keylock to the rest of the Yak/Thule locks. Would not recommend attempting some pressure clamps or mount only to the tonneau frame as you're asking for a blow off especially if hauling larger items like kayaks.

TX_AT the flares were on the truck when I bought it, they are made in house by Southern Comfort Automotive and installed by them, I'm almost positive the are the same flare that is on the Black Widow
