2014+ Lowering / Drop Kits

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure there is a spindle yet for.your application but without knowing that. I'd start out a 2/4. 2" strut and flip kit with lift hanger

Get this kit here and set the front at 3" so you don't mess up your 4wd. It's a 2" drop spindle and set the struts at 1".

That's a 2wd kit he has a 4wd

This is where I get confused. They make drop spindles for 4wd but not with stamped UCA. What if I went with tubular UCA's? I dont mind spending the money but I am not quite sure what I need to spend the money on just yet. I know I what to have the proper suspension geometry when I finish and dont want to have problems I could have avoided if I would have installed the right stuff.

Just bought a 2017 Silverado double cab 2wd and plan on lowering it on stock 20" wheels and tires.

I have Mcgaughys 34270 adjustable kit on order and have a couple questions.

1- How low can I go on stock 275/55-20's? I'm thinking 3-5?

2- Would you use the McGaughy shocks that come with the kit or something else?

3- What is the easiest tool to cut off the bump stop bracket from the frame?
