Just picked up a set of 24" slides for a steal. I'd like to get them onto my 2016 z71 silverado 4x4. Anyone know what lowering kit I can get away with? Original plan was a 4/7 drop w/ 22's, and that still might be the plan if I can't fit these 24's. 3/5 drop maybe?

I have 4" DJM control arms for the aluminum spindles and control arms and a belltech flip kit with street performance shocks I'm thinking about selling. Currently still on my truck thinking of going level with 33's

Well, drop me a PM if you get motivated to sell

decided to play around with some parts to get the truck down alittle more. 4.5/7 according to all of my measurements from when I first started with it. actually went too low in the front, had to space it up...still may bring it up a 1/4' or so. only issue is the top of the tire hits the fender liner on larger freeway bridge transitions (few of them in my daily route) other then that only full lock rubs...not on the fender liner but actually the inner lip of the rim touches the upper control arm. some wheel spacers will take care of that. no issues what so ever with 4wd. the rear driveshaft is now flat, plenty of clearance everywhere but need to play with the pinion angle still, getting a vibration for the first time at 70 and above. ride is not compromised in fact I believe it rides better then before. Probably should go to the next step shorter nitro drop 2 rear shocks since they are pretty compressed. That's it for me this time, its as low as it goes haha

Is there a 1" lift shackle available? I can't seen to find anywhere. Reason being if i do a flip kit and 1" lift shackle on my 16 I can leave the stock shackle hanger and not have to drill put those shitty rivets

DJM makes a 1 inch lift shackle, I actually used it on my flip kit to get the extra inch down since I have the rear hanger inverted. I love my nitro drop 2s in the rear, huge improvement over my stock ranchos. im currently on #8504 for 2-4" lowering, need to swap them out for the #8510 which are for 5-7" lowering. I did not like the shock extender method, looked horrible and really didn't like how low the mounts were in relation to the rest of the truck

Ya I want thr lift shackle so I don't need to changer the hanger. Is the ride rough with such a short shackle?

And I looked at djm, the shackle is for 99-06
