Well, finally back in a GMT 900

2 months after i sold my 09 silvy I regretted it!

 

I will be picking up or taking delivery of this beauty on Saturday.

By delivery i mean its up in Dallas and I may just ship it down here to Houston instead of taking a 9 hour round trip to get it.

09 GMC SLE Z71 All Terrain 4x2 (yeah I thought all Z71 and All Terrains were 4x4)

Cant wait to get in my hands to add my personal touches. Looks damn good as it is, but i plan on going with a bigger wheel and tire combo. Looking at American Force but you know those things are high!

But first thing on the agenda will be paint to match bumpers and grille. I may do a billet type grill ebut dont know yet.

Crazy how you start spending money before the truck is even in your hands.

Yeah pretty excited

Looks like it already has a leveling kit also.

Will probably be adding lift spindles to it, before the new wheel and tire combo. See if i can fit 35" tires

Looks nice. I'd do the road trip if you can get a ride, good time to feel out the new truck and spend some time planning what to do next and how to pay for it.

My buddy is letting me borrow his F250 and diesel CC fo rthe trip

Im thinking of just taking my car trailer up there and bringing it back on the trailer. If i have to finance through them i have to go sign paper work, but i am going through my bank and they can just wire the dealer the money. I can get it shipped down here for $275 from a friend of mine.

Picked her up on Saturday. Not the best day to drive up to Dallas. Snowy, Icy and just miserable. Took my time and was very cautious. Other than having a blow out on my trailer about one hour before getting home all was good. I decided to trailer it instead of having the wife drive up there in those conditions. Being from Phoenix she has no clue how to drive in those conditions.

I love it!!!!

Has all the bells and whistles, a leveling kit already installed with brand new 275/70/18 BFG AT's. I will be looking for a 295 or 305 tire though.

I borrowed my dads 2007 Yukon XL

First thing i did was add a Magnaflow 3" in 3" out

 

Then took care of a dent on the driver side

Cant stand dents!!

 

Installed my 20" Rigid industries light bar and HID 6000k. Picture is just of the bar turned on

 

I've aso installed the footwell LED stripes and LED interior lights

Got my painted bumper caps siting in the garage and waiting for some free time to put them on

Installed an AirAid Jr Kit with the dry filter last night

 

Also swapped out my passenger side mirror because the power fold motor went out.

Found a killer deal on some 33 12.5 18 Toyo Open Country MT's

Picked them up earlier and slapped them on. I'll get pics of them in the am
