LED Front Light Bars & Pods

Recommended Posts

I wanna see that sucker on at night!!!!!

I don't have any night pics but it is nice to have. I have the factory led headlights which are bright enough for everything, but the light bar goes over the top. I had a 36" double row behind the grille of my 14 Silverado and 4 20" bars behind the grille of my old dodge and this is just as good or better than those setups.

There is a small circle on top of the large grommet in the driver side of the firewall. Cut a slit in it and fish your wire through. This is the method recommended for routing the power wires for the GM kicker system. Tip: remove the 3 nuts holding the power distribution box on the interior and move it slightly out of the way to make it easier to fish the wires through the firewall. I have installed my kicker power wires and rough country harness through here with no trouble.

Thanks for the response! I was trying to remove that big rubber grommet with no success. Didn't think about just cutting a slit instead.

I'm very pleased with the fitment and the brackets are very well made.

Is anyone running a switched power lead to their light bar switches? Meaning you can leave your light bar switch on and when you turn the truck off it also turns off? Or all you all running constant power to the switch so lights can be used when the truck is off?

I'm trying to find a switched fuse position I can use to power a bar and 2 cubes for behind my grill.

Im just wondering if anyone who is Running D or D2 Rigids in the Sierra Fog light bracket has the Rigid Colored covers on their lights. I want some amber covers for when it's foggy but I want to make sure they fit before I order them.

You could use a relay that only allows the light to be on when the headlights are on then it will turn off when the headlights are off.

Can some let me know which switch yall are using that will fit in the cigarette lighter and can be hidden?

I'm in the process of gathering all the materials for my build and I'm looking for a hidden switch. I have seen them in the cigarette lighter spots just cant seem to find them.

^^looks like you're going into the batcave!!!

definitely a cool mod and one that is on my 'to-do' list ... the mod being the LED bar... not the batcave... mind you, having a batcave would be pretty sweet too
