As is the carbon fiber emblem ... and the grill pattern.

I love the rims on it. It was funny watching Josh ask a guy who works for GM to change it to SS

Prob one of those weight/space saving "tire inflation kits". :ughdance:

Slightly off topic.

I had something similar in a Dodge Aspen that was given to me. 10 years old at time of gift.

Got a flat on busy highway on way home from work.

Got out. Got jack. Took the donut out. Flat donut. Never used. Had to go to owners manual. It seems that this first generation donut had to be inflated. Found the "can" of air in trunk. Put on donut. Nothing. No air in can. New used ever. Just - air gone from can with time.

So much for that technology.

I think GM should take the regular cab and extended cab. Decontent it.

Steel rims with unique wheel cover. Different seat covers.

Put large engine in it. Make the price lower - not higher.

And market it with a unique model name - and voila.

No one will buy something with hubcaps. GM needs an answer to the Ram Express and F150 STX. I see tons of both in my travels. Especially the Ram.

Jeez, it looks sharp but why if your going to go to the extent of making it no longer a truck. Why not an indendent suspension in the rear? Could you imagine how well that would make it handle? As many 1/2 tons are on the road as daily drivers without nary a scratch in the bed and/or non-marred trailer ball. Hanging only on the back of a truck to bust your shins.

A RCSB, 60k sounds about what they will want for it. Seems over the last few years, things have got out of hand in the pricing department on trucks.

Cheyenne I am glad to see the name back on something, hopefully it will make production again.

When they build something that has no functionality, it becomes a "carport sitter" as I call them, the only practicilty they have is car shows or racing. What is the point other than you get to sell somebody one to keep in the carport and one to drive daily.. Just my 2 cents.

I know show cars never make it as showed. Lots of things would have to go to make the vehicle viable on the road. i.e. spare tire, some carbon fiber, etc.

Lets face it how many people after haveing a truck that has a extended cab or crew cab would be willing to step back to a regular cab?

I would pre-order a new truck today if they put an indepent suspension in a 1/2 ton, I don't tow anything with my daily driver, I have a 3/4 ton it pulls anything that needs moving. An indepent suspension isn't the end of towing. Look at the Expeditions towing and think how heavy that beast is and think about your half ton. (9200lbs isn't bad).

Maybe I tossed more than 2 cents out,

Jbo
