I have this one as well but it hits the latches on my ARE Z series cap, it's like an 1/8th in to wide... I had to install the latches that let you pop it out at any angle. I was wondering if the one above with a bit more angle would clear the cap latches??? I'll get killed if I buy another one and it doesn't work...lol!

The Sport model shown in post 22 and 25 has an angled frame as opposed to my rectangular frame. Amp's web site says the Sport model is a V-shaped designed to provide extra clearance needed for some tonneau cover rails.

Another thought is that the BedXTender can be attached a few different ways. As you know, the kit comes with the 45 degree latch mounted on a plate and there is the pop out latch. The pop out latch can be screwed directly to the bed, the 45 degree latch can be screwed directly to the bed or either latch can be attached using mounting plate.

The pics in post 22 and 25 show the 45 degree latch using the mounting plate. If you did not use the mounting plate, you can use the pop out latch mounted to the plate which would give you some more space on each end. I was going to use this method, but decided to just mount the 45 degree latch directly and I have just enough clearance for the Bakflip rails.

Amp also has a spacer kit shown on their web site which might work. I would try these other options before buying another BedXTender. The spacer is listed at the bottom of this page.
