Got a 4l60e issue. Any help is appreciated. I won't be able to get someone to scan the truck until Friday. I've searched a number of forums and I can't find anything exactly like I'm experiencing. The trans has a fresh rebuild with a shift kit and corvette servo installed...not sure on the brands of those. The problem I'm having is when I shift from park or reverse to OD (my truck has P,R,N,OD,3,2,1) the truck will not move. I can get the rpm's up and it will kick in gear hard and move, but I'm not sure if it's in first or jumping on to second...I've only tried that once. If I manually shift it down to first or second and without moving the truck shift immediately back to OD it will go on into first an shift thru the gears normally. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eric

dont post here ,,,take the dam truck back, you have warranty on it from the garage that built it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get bent twit. You don't know anything about the situation. You're just a blowhard behind a computer screen trying to fill a post quota for the day. If you don't have something constructive to contribute toward the problem then just keep scrolling.

Actually, he was a dealership drivetrain tech, and now works for the canadian govt as a tech. He knows what he is talking about. Also the name calling will not be taken lightly, consider this a light verbal warning

I never questioned his mechanical abilities. But he didn't show any in his post. So why even post?

Because you used the words "fresh rebuild" which to most of us means it was done in the past few months. So his comment is to take it back to the builder. Most decent shops will warranty their work. If it is having issues use the warranty. It is there to help you.

Rob is very blunt, but knows what he is talking about. He is not one to burn a bridge with since in the future he may have the answers for you in terms of diagrams or schematics

The constructive thing to do IS to return to the trans builder and let them look it over. That's your answer.

The toast pictures are completely unnecessary and if I see any more I'm giving points moderator or not.

The question has been answered several times including in my post #9. He needs to return to his builder, because his trans is major fubar

Feel free to do so, Sarah. If it bothers you so much to have a little humor around here

:)

Any further discussion on this issue should be in the mod lounge
