Its the front I'm having trouble with though. I was just saying I think they set the rear up good not so much the front. No weird noises or whines or anything from the rear.

Ifs is a completely different ball game I guess because you can't see everything your doing. But it should make it easier since there are adjusters and the only shim that I'm aware of in the front is the pinion shim

Well I went to the shop again Friday and seems like they are tired of me coming back in haha, and he told me to bring the old tcase I had in the truck originally and he'll take it apart and look at it, see if bearings are bad or chain stretched or anything to make that terrible noise, and then he will find out that there is nothing wrong with it.

Could the driveshaft just be a tad short and causing this noise? Never had problems on the RCX lift, but maybe because this kit drops the diff. about 3" more than that kit. If everything is OK with the old tcase, then Im pretty sure the replacement one is perfectly fine. At that point, Im just going to take it to the dealers to get a second opinion.

Im just chasing driveline gremlins now, and its costing me $$$

Angle on the front driveshaft at the pinion is flat, the transfer case end is a little steeper than before, because of the bigger drop. I may get a double cardan shaft but that's just for the angle. There's no way either of my t cases are bad. I guess I just have to take it to the dealer and drop the $. And then show the shop that setup the gears what the dealer says. They are pretty honest with me, so I trust what the dealer will say

Well you may have a bit more angle but that's not your problem. Plenty of guys run close to 10" of suspension without modification to the drive shafts. It's your gears or gear setup. The shop knows this...I guarantee it.

I guess if its the gear set I'll be paying for labor again. Damn...

BS. Should have a 6 month warranty. Mine did. The offroad shop that did mine didn't have another set in stock so they outsourced to a local diff shop. They told me the set up was fine but the gears weren't machined quite right. It didn't cost me a dime and shouldn't cost you anything either.
