Seat Movement Issues

Recommended Posts

This is what I found regarding the dealer fix and seems to be really recent: http://vitalysmobileautodiagnostics.com/archives/6522. Seems like the black piece will do the trick(similar to what others are doing with the hose clamps). It also looks like you can put this piece on without taking the whole seat apart as well. It seems like they are taking the seat apart just to add the grease under the white pivot blocks. The other part, the white round shim washer is already on my truck from the factory. So I might just add the black part as preventative maintenance.

Link isn't working.

Just got my new 15 CC back from having a leak and dumping water on my passanger floor and now today I suddenly have this seat issue. Wtf did I purchase! Had this truck for a month and 2 weeks and it has 1300 miles and has been in the shop 2 times already.

GM fixed all the issues identified on 2014 models by changing the model year number to 2015.

I've got a 2014 AT with a seat movement issue when turning...the seat feels like it slips to the side opposite the turn and makes a click sound....my seat are set relatively low because I'm 6'3". It's definitely the seat because I can move it side-to-side when I push the seat with my hand up against the driver's door...

The service dept seems to be able to get the parts needed pretty quick now. Call ahead and make an appointment so they can order parts ahead of time. Feels like a different truck when your not

anticipating shifting around in your seat at every turn or speed hump.
