You guys must be busy this time of year. I'm experiencing this exact problem with my 2014 LTZ crew cab and have sent you a private message about it. It really is a shame after spending 50K on a truck we are experiencing this type of issue. Hopefully there will be a factory resolution soon.

Told my dealer about and they ordered the parts 6 or 7 weeks ago. I have the hose clamp fix on so it doesn't bother me, but I don't think anyone should not bring it up until they fix it for real. I really want to know if the 15's are doing it and if the they do does it now include the HDs?

Yes, the 2015 1500's have the seat movement issue too.

The drivers seat on my 2015 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab SLT with the bench seat setup shifts when I go around corners, make a quick stop, and hit a bump. It is very annoying. I've taken it in twice now and it's still not fixed. It did not do it when I first bought it and I started noticing it around 1200 miles. I am due for an oil change in the next week or so and will have them look at it again when I take it in. The shifting and movement of the seat is distracting and causes me to lose focus on driving every time it happens. I wonder if anyone has been in an accident caused by this seat movement issue.

I have a 2014 1500 Seirra crew cab and have been experiencing the same drivers seat movement from 4000 miles on. Now I have 9000 miles and it is really getting annoying. I will notify the dealer when it goes in for an oil change about the issue. I hope there is a fix for it, and parts available. Not overly impressed with the amount of little quirks that I have been experiencing with the new truck. I am beginning to wish I hadn't traded in the 2000 K2500 crew cab on this one.

The pin threads to the top of the forum so that those are easy to find. Is there a way to pin the post with the fix to the top of the page for the discussions? Maybe just a large font with a bright color saying the post number to the actual fix.

I have an OEM driver's seat from my 1969 deuce and half truck for sale. It might be an improvement over your original seat. It has a sturdy frame and green canvas covered horsehair cushions.

Seriously though, some military vehicles have great suspension seats.

So I was able to solve the seat movement issue as a few others with hose clamps. I bought 2 - 1" hose clamps, and 2 - 3/4" rubber clamps and slid the rubber off of those and onto the hose clamps. I butted them up against the inside of the two white clips on the front of the seat rail. As you can see below the clamp doesn't but up against the entire clip, just the white part protruding at the top. I kept trying to get it right against it, and didn't realize until I took the picture that the white part sticking out was what it mated up against.

Here are the parts that I pulled the rubber off of to go on the hose clamp:

So far so good and this seems to be a fix until GM comes out with a better one or if they don't, it will remain permanent. Hope this helps anyone who is having this issue!

I'm going to quote this and bump it to the later pages as I just spent a good 10 minutes digging back through this to find it, haha.

Maybe we can get this put on page one for the time being? While its not a permanent fix IMO it will help owners who are trying to resolve this annoyance.

I'm only 2400 miles now and the seat started moving on me too the past few weeks. I just installed the hose clamps (without the rubber) and it appears to have fixed it. Thanks for the tips/fix.

Thanks for digging this up. I have some time off work this week and next and I will definitely be doing this fix. I don't honestly care about a permanent fix from the dealer if this works. It's out of sight so I'm not concerned with how bad this repair looks. And I certainly don't trust the dealer to get it right after telling me everything was fine when I originally reported the problem. 2 more free oil changes and then back to my trusted side mechanic!
