14x4
The only option I'm seeing for payment on Rx's website is PayPal. Is this correct?
Silverado-Hareek
The only option I'm seeing for payment on Rx's website is PayPal. Is this correct? Yeah that's what I saw too when I checked out. Which is deceiving because their website says they accept credit cards at the bottom. I dunno they could definitely use a website makeover to make out of state customers a little more comfortable with purchasing the cans. It seems a little shady and the only reason I bought the can was because of the guys on this forum. I almost went with a different brand based on RX's website and the purchase process but since PayPal handled the transaction, I decided to chance it. I'm also not thrilled about the fact that shipping was $15 and it looks like it will take 3-4 weeks to get here. This isn't 1994. Shipping should be free at 3-4 weeks OR for $15 the order I placed Sunday should have arrived yesterday. Did you get an email confirming your shipment and a tracking number? I exchanged a couple of emails with the sales rep to confirm my vehicle make/model/engine etc and they said they would let me know when the order has shipped. I guess if they paint every can as they're ordered that makes sense to take a little longer. I figured with standard black it will be just lying around ready to go. Anyway I guess it will show up when it show up. I was just hoping to get it before Thanksgiving when I'd have 4 days off to find time to do the install. Mine took at least 3 weeks to arrive (ordered basic black). I'm guessing they are either back logged or building to order.
Newm
I ordered by phone, Used Visa and got the can the next week. They paint the cans as they get the orders. That's exactly what I did and received it the following week as well. Sorry to hear about the delays they are having now but being a small shop I bet they don't keep a lot of these on the shelf ready to ship. And with threads like this popping up I bet business has seen an upswing. It really is a quality piece and worth the wait IMO though. I had to laugh at the sketchy website posts....I thought the exact same thing while researching and the reason I called to just to make sure I felt comfortable giving them my $$$. bladz1454
Can you by chance release the name of the company and some teaser pictures? I'm using Saikou Michi (the only can RX claims is as efficient as theirs) but rather not release the blue prints just yet since its a Prototype. I will say that it will fit perfectly (plug and play) into your spare battery area (helps with condensation), will be a duel can set up (to completely shut down all the Catch Can tests that test back to back cans), will be very user friendly (install and drain setup), and will be priced competitively with RX (but you will be receiving MUCH more than you get with RX... technically twice as much for the same price haha). henrypbui
I was actually going to email them today about what they can do. Does it deal with both clean side valve cover lines? I talked to one of the guys at RX about doing a dual inlet and dual outlet on a single can for that to take care of the clean side.

I talked to one of the guys at RX about doing a dual inlet and dual outlet on a single can for that to take care of the clean side. Its only for the dirty side. The clean side really doesn't concern me nearly as much from all the results I've been reading and seeing. Unless you're at WOT a lot of running some sort of boost, the clean side doesn't see much. henrypbui
I understand your feeling on that. I just hate carbon buildup in my intake stream even on my direct port injection engine builds.

It started to seem like a chore to order the damn thing. But now that guys are sharing their experiences of ordering by phone, I may just do that. bigsapper
I'm not defending RX's business model or their online presence, but two points... 1) PayPal is probably the best online payment option available from a consumer protection stand point. 2) There's no such thing as "free" shipping.
TJay74
I ordered mine last week and it came in today, so a week from order to my door is not bad. Also as said there is no free shipping anymore, shipping costs eat into profits as well as shipping costs are outside of the control of the vendor. The box that my RX can came in today would be a $13 priority box from USPS, so another $2 to package all of the materials and box and ship it is not bad. I put my can on tonight, took me about 15 minutes. If you have a CAI system on your truck then the install will be quicker than a stock airbox truck. I didn't have to remove anything from the TB unless you really wanted to. Now the test and or trial begins.
