I keep trying to do 20% off of the sticker on the GMC Sierra 1500, base model, and cant' get anywhere. They are holding at 30,500 OTD for a $32000 truck.

Crazy they usually only give that on the loaded trucks, shows u just how much the slt is marked up, I bought a all terrain sle and got about 24% off last Dec, at this point let the 16 start flooding there lots, once they run outta room they get more aggressive

I'd hold out longer ... keep shopping otherr dealers ... internet sales are easier to get the best price (without a trade)

2016 have less of a warranty ...

I'm leaning toward buying used now. This game of over-valued new base-models is crazy. The 2015 base double-cab Silverados and Sierras I have driven aren't worth 27k IMHO - very simplistic hunks of steel.

If you are looking at trucks that sticker for 32,000 and are 27,000 sale price, that's 16% off. Really not bad, the deeper discounts come with higher profit options. That simplistic hunk of steel has the same engine, transmission, suspension, body, towing and hauling capability, warranty, reliability, and comes with pretty much the same color pallette as its higher markup bretheren.

Maybe they will give those away in the next couple months. LOL. [emoji87]

Sent from my Note 4

that's actually an interesting question-what do they do with them? Donate them to charities? Give them to Police/Fire departments? I can believe they'd destroy them, they must do something with them.....

I'm trying to find a 15 Denali with a 6.2, sunroof, RES, prefer not having the 22" for 3k, but just about every other option. Seems to run 60k Msrp. Trying to get to 50k OTD with the 6% tax and fees not counting the tax credit and equity in my SLT. Anyone having any luck with that? Anyone seeing 0 apr for 72?
