Do y'all think we are going to see better prices on 2015 than we currently have? Trying to figure out if I should buy now or wait 2-3 more weeks.

They've stopped building 2015's(IIRC), so if you're looking for a hard to find truck, you should probably act quickly. If you're looking for a more common combination, deals will get better the closer we get to the 16's hitting the lots.

EDIT: They stopped accepting 2015 orders 7/23/2015.

Last year I waited and right after Labor day they doubled the rebates but I couldn't get much better of a deal compared to August when most dealers took off the $4500 rebate and then came off another 5K or so. The first week of Sept. the rebates for dbl cabs was $10k but of course no dealer knocked off 10k in rebates and then another 5k or so. I guess what I am saying is that you will probably get the same deal no matter what.

Best thing to do would be to get a written quote before the end of the month that shows a breakdown of costs. If the dealer is giving you Supplier Pricing now, there's no reason they shouldn't honor SP next week. If the rebates go up (and boy, I really hope they do, because the truck I'm looking at is in transit and due to arrive sometime next week), you're price SHOULD go down the equivalent amount.

Then again, I talked to a d!#k dealer yesterday who argued up and down that I don't qualify for SP when at least a dozen others have told me otherwise, and I actually bought an Acadia last year with that discount. So you never know.

My guess is prices will stay the same thru Sept.....the Labor Day "sales" will be comparable to what we see now....I'm annoyed at my dealer who I'm trying to work a deal with saying I need to act before the end of August because prices may go up....he must think I'm not very bright

A lady directly from GM told me the 20% off slt is running through Sept 8th and it is now on all SLT not just old stock.

Most dealers I talk to offer it. I have only run into one that said its only on old stock. I'm waiting for my dealer to get one with an msrp of 52, and he quoted me 40,300 out the door with tax included.

When does that start? Obviously they have 20% off on the "oldest" ones right now. When will the 20% off all of the SLTs start?

Wow. That's a lot better than I'm seeing. Where are you located? 6% sales tax?

I'd love to know if this is legit. I've emailed a few dealers I've been talking to....waiting to hear back.

I called the GMC customer care center, and two dealers told me also. Only one of the three dealers told me otherwise. The truck I had lined up, they sold it under me. Trying to find another one

The dealer was granted 5 @ 20 % off one week and 10 the next. Not sure how long it will last. Was this only for SLT at the time.
