Well as I stated, mine is not a base model.

But I believe you are correct, there are many trucks with many options that make trying to make comparisons almost impossible.

However, I still have the invoice and can post it up as a comparison when I get home.

Man, I typed all this out, then wasn't logged in...

Went to Laura Buick GMC in Collinsville, IL today. Dealt with Calvin in sales (new guy, AWESOME dude) and Thad in financing. I'm trying to figure out where I need to start cussing them, but since I have the truck home already, the deal may really be true. :D

Local dealers couldn't come within $4-5k of the Laura price so I went up there today expecting to have to fight with them. It never came. I picked the trucks I liked, he pulled them around, I test drove it, went in and discussed trading or not, then did the deal. Local dealers said Laura doesn't give anything on trades so they make their money there. Well my trade was an 03 Corolla with 208k miles on it, so we didn't have much room to lose a lot there. They gave me $500 more than local dealers had offered...deal. They said they'd beat my banks financing rate...deal. The only down side (if you want to call it that) is since they were already way lower than anyone around, they don't have any haggle room that I can see. They make it up by selling 65 vehicles in a day like they did yesterday. The whole place was a well oiled machine albeit busy. I couldn't even haggle a set of splash guards out of Calvin. The guy in the next cubicle was there to look at 2 trucks at around 11:30 and they were both sold already. There were a couple of salesman there I'd have probably not jived well with, but Calvin was good people.

They might beat you up if you are trading much newer vehicles, I don't know. You'd have to test that for yourself. But overall, Laura Buick GMC, two thumbs up from me.

Alright, I'll get to the point...

I got My 2014 Gmc Sierra all terrain during the Black Friday sale

$46,030 MSRP

-$12,936 discount (includes rebates and dealer discount)

=$33,094 Sale Price

-$21,500 estimated trade in value (SUBJECT TO INSPECTION, CONDITION AND EQUIPMENT MAY EFFECT FINAL VALUE)

My trade was a 2010 GMC Sierra all terrain Which was right inline for a clean trade per kbb and nada.

I did find some better deals on more expensive trucks but I actually wanted an ALL TERRAIN and PREFERRED THE SLE. Most dealers in the are would not even come close to this deals and I checked all of New England.

Dealers in DC are thieves so I flew to St. Louis (Laura Buick GMC) and drove home a new truck. Folks should just stop reading this thread and go to their website to see what they should be paying ...

2015 GMC Sierra SLT, Crew Cab, 4x4 (I think it had everything but the driver alert pkg)

Sticker = $52,110

Didn't have a trade so the only item in their "sale price" I didn't get was the $1,000 trade assist, but I did have a $1,000 Capital One GM rebate that was good through 12/31.

Final price was $40,781 + Dealer processing ($174)

Great folks (Brendan/Thad) and the dealer picked me up from the airport. Not surprising, I was one of four fly in pickups on Monday.

How much for plane ticket, gas, food and perhaps hotel room from this trip? I would not be opposed to doing this when I get a new one as they have Denalis for 45k.....

I did this with my last truck, went to chicago, live in Buffalo, all in all it cost me $500, the internet has really changed buying, (Example Laura) I considered it to be honest, if it cost a $1000 to save 4/5000 seems worth it to me, but i like driving and road trips, My next thought is maybe bring along the wife and make a weekend out of it for the little extra cost,

The truck I was gonna get from laura is 49176, so 50176 without the trade assist. I went to all the local dealers to try and match but most wouldn't even consider it. I found a dealer to get me 508xx which is pretty close to the laura prices and it comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty. No way I could fly and trailer/drive the truck from Seattle to Chicago for 700-1k

Laura has good prices but I think people that are farther way can get a deal at local dealers if they work on it. Short drive okay but flights and hotels/drive backs just doesn't seem worth it to me unless none of your dealers are willing to negotiate.

I do find it ridiculous that Laura can offer these prices and other dealers are to greedy and just get the sale

Just gotta play the game, my dealer went below the nov sale prices, about 25% of msrp, I just like that laura advertises the price w/o all the dickering around, Seattle is quite a ways, I'm guessing the max worth it is around 10/12 hours of travel, never mind if they have a "specific" truck u want then just go get it

Lifetime power train warranty? Nice!

Lifetime power train warranty? Nice!

not as good as it sounds, but they have it through an aftermarket company and say it is equivalent to the gm powertrain warranty. Could be good but def a nice little throw in. Wasn't sure if I would rather have lifetime oil changes or lifetime power train (with it already having the 100k warranty)

2014 All Terrain Crew Cab SLE with leather installed by American Luxery Coach (which after taking the truck on a 600 mile trip I undoubtedly believe is the nicest leather I have ever sat on).

$49500 sticker, $40500 paid.

2014 Silverado, Crew Cab, Short bed, 5.3, Texas Edition, LT, Cloth, Tow package (3.42 gears), LED cargo lights, underseat storage, bedliner, side steps, backup camera, fog lights, and that's all I can remember right now.

Price was a hair under $43,000

I ended up paying a hair under $33,000

My Cruze really had me upside down though so that killed my deal a bit, I kind of regret getting that car in 2012 but it was a good car with zero complaints and I'd have a 2012 truck instead of a 2014! Looking a bit through this thread and it really makes me think that 4wd is cheaper in other areas. It was like a 6k add on in my area.
