what's so hard to believe?? lmao. it's been happening for weeks on the 14s

10-12 off sticker isn't rare.

I understsnd. I guess it's so believable for me since I bought one 12 days ago

for $10,325 off sticker with no trade in or other bs inflated numbers. it was the easiest

deal I've done at a dealership to date FYI.

So why didn't you hold out for the $12K off MSRP if the negotiations were so quick and easy? If $12K off MSRP isn't so rare these days, why did you give in and sign with just $10.3K off MSRP? That seems like quite a bit of beer money you left on the table there. :>)

No, Its not rare to CLAIM $10K- $12K off sticker, you're correct there.....

What is rare, is when somebody can actually BACK IT UP with proof.

Well, lets see... I paid $41,097.75 after Tax, Title, License and Doc fees. I am in Southern California and all those fees add up to approximately $4K... what's so hard to figure out???

I put ZERO out of pocket and had a check from my credit union for $41097.75 ??? What can't you figure out?

enough guys, c'mon

trucks are plastered with $8000, $9000, $10000, $12000, and even $14000 off all over the place around hear.

bottom line is the more it costs the bigger the discount and the more volume a dealership sells the bigger discounts they offer.

will any of you have a life changing event one way or the other based on if a random stranger on a forum gets a better deal then you did?

I don't care what any one else paid lol. it's just hilarious some of these guys

try to disprove a price paid when it's a fact lol guess I'll have to post my

window sticker and sales documents when I get to the house, not like they won't

come up with something else to dispute the deal.

A lot of times those banners or window paint aren't referring to discount off MSRP, they are claiming you save that using 0% financing against a made up interest rate they assumed. clicking on the link above once you are in their inventory site the average discount appears to be about 3k off MSRP.

In California manufacturer rebates are considered "cash", hence the reason for paying tax on the amount before rebates.

Id assume same applies for most/all states.

Easy bro.

I couldn't figure out why you originally told us the price was $41,928 minus the $5K in rebates resulting in a price of $36,928. Then when asked to back it up, you posted scans of a tightly cropped lending disclosure, showing the price was $46,097 minus $5K in rebates resulting in a price of $41,097.

The numbers changed, so I questioned it. Enjoy the truck.

Who questioned you? I don't remember anybody questioning the deal you posted. Nobody is trying to disprove anything here... The other guy changed his numbers, so we questioned that. You seemed to get all defensive about your deal too, but nobody questioned it that I can see. You said saving $12K wasn't rare, so I then jokingly asked why you didn't save $12K on yours.... that was it.

I'm fully aware you can save $10-$12K off MSRP on these trucks as I posted my paperwork showing how I saved $11.5K off MSRP on my truck, so yes, I do know it can be done.
