Price paid?

Thanks for the advice, I have been really thinking about exactly what you said above... It's funny before I read what you posted I had already called the dealership and told them that I changed my mind... Thanks again.

I wish someone had given me this advice, god I wish I had my old truck back now.

Good for you, IF TRUE, but I'm not sure I'm buying it without further proof. $11K off MSRP without an employee GMS code, after just 10 minutes of emailing and no haggling seems pretty far fetched to me....

I'll leave this right here....

Forgot to mention they charged me $99 to "deactivate" the trading dealerships alarm... So I "lied" it was $36,928 + 99 = $37,027 before TTL

I threatened to walk, but the sales person was more than happy to let me because they weren't making anything off of it, or so he claimed.

I was happy regardless.

So $10,773 off MSRP

....would you like my emails timestamps to confirm the dialogue time?

The nature of forums like this is that unhappy people are heavily represented.

My 2014 had the loose seat, which the dealer fixed (and gave me a comparable loaner) in one day. I think 3 recalls too. My truck is awesome. It does not vibrate, but I've only been 85 MPH so far. 7600 miles.

I wondered about buying a new truck in its first year but so far don't seem to have any problem. Gave it its first good test 2 weeks ago with a five thousand mile trip and it performed above expectations. I ordered this truck last November and got just shy of $8000 off MSRP. Employees discount. The one thing I never do is trade. I sell my old vehicle privately. Mix a trade in with the numbers and that is where they will try to get it back.

That is your proof?!? Unless I'm totally confused, you just proved me correct.

You originally said they priced the truck at $41K before rebates. Then they took off the $5K in rebates dropping the price down to $36K. The only thing you've posted appears to show the truck was priced at $46K before rebates, not $41K as claimed. I'm still not seeing the other $5K in savings here.....

Am I wrong? I still fail to see how what you posted can in any way back up the claim that you paid $36K +/- for that truck.

No, Its not rare to CLAIM $10K- $12K off sticker, you're correct there.....

What is rare, is when somebody can actually BACK IT UP with proof.

I understsnd. I guess it's so believable for me since I bought one 12 days ago

for $10,325 off sticker with no trade in or other bs inflated numbers. it was the easiest

deal I've done at a dealership to date FYI.
