And let it sit for 6 months? There will still be trucks for sale when you get back. No need to eat the depreciation without even enjoying it.

Makes sense. I just have little confidence in the promotions for at the end of the year.

Thanks

I bought mine the day after Christmas and got $8K off without much hassle. The deals will be there the end of December especially with a new F150 coming out.

Been lurking for a while and joined recently. My truck is due to be here tomorrow but not sure it will make it. This is what my dealer give me.

Sale Price... 49,652.50

3% tax...... 1,489.58

Doc Fee..... 398.00

Tag ......... 105.70

total ........ 51,645.78

Rebates

Customer Cash 500

Bonus Cash 500

Private Offer 1000

Total 49,645.78

Doesn't sound good enough to me. Especially being I purchase 20-30 vehicles a year from them for the company I work for. If that is all the rebates on a 2014 then I would be just as well off to wait for a 2015. He says because I ordered a loaded LTZ that there is not much for rebates. Opinions? What should I be getting?

I honestly don't know about loaded trucks but that does not seem like a good deal.

Even the dealers that play hard ball here have a sale price of around 3K before rebates. I'd think you'd be able to get at least 5K off.

Edit: what is the actual sticker price?

They are taking about 5k off the sticker price. Sticker is right in the area of 54800.

That doesn't seem too bad then. About 12% or 7K off MSRP, which I'd imagine is reasonable for a fully loaded truck with less incentives. But considering you buy a lot of vehicles it wouldn't hurt to try to hammer them down some more.

Also, can you post pics when you get the truck? Read your sig and it sounds awesome. I love the victory red!

Definitely will post. I'm trying to make up my mind if I want to wait a couple more months and just get a 2015 or go ahead with this one being it is so close to the end of production year and the rebates suck. In am going to wait for June incentives before I close the deal anyway. Don't see how it could get any worse.

That is not a good deal IMO, loaded truck or not. There is more mark up on a loaded truck anyways so there's more room to play.

Like I said in an earlier post, My MSRP was 44k and I walked out paying $36,380 OTD everything included!! I could have gotten this same amount off of any truck there, I just didn't want an LTZ and was trying to keep the cost as low as possible with the features I wanted most.

I would keep looking for a better deal, the trucks aren't going anywhere.
