Price paid?

Not sure if I got a deal, but they wouldn't meet my price without pulling the tonneau cover off, so I have to believe that they weren't coming down. What gets me is the "Value" I am getting, is in the "Retail" prices of the dealer-installed options. Took 3 phone calls to get them to just get rid of the tonneau cover.

Sticker $44330

+ dealer installed $2600 (under 1k on ebay)

=$46930

SLE Double Cab 4x4 v8

heated bucket seats

20" aluminum rims

Value Package

Trailer brake

Dealer-installed

bedliner

6" running boards

chrome tip, mirrors, handles, tail handle, door moldings

$39K OTD.inc TTL

I don't know, still feel like they got me.

For a DOUBLE CAB ?!? Oh yeah, they still got you!

I paid $38,300 OTD (inc TTL) for an arguably better equipped CREW CAB. (MSRP over $47K before dealer add-ons)

The crew cab option alone is worth around $3K over a double cab.

My truck also has the Z71 offroad package.

Like your truck, mine too has the heated bucket seats, but my truck also has the upgraded 7 speaker Bose package, which isn't available on your SLE. ($500 option)

My dealer also swapped out all the black LT trim stuff and replaced it with the chrome goodies, and also put in a spray-in bedliner.

I sure hope your dealer at least sends you a nice xmas card this year!

Picked it up yesterday. 14' Chevrolet v6 double cab all-star package (tungsten) for $29,828. -5k for my trade $26,518 otd after tax tag title. Dealer threw in bed liner and tint. I'm happy with the price and so far love the truck.

I had the option of going with a Double Cab 1W/T when I bought my 1 W/T Reg Cab.

Stripped 1W/T would have run me 25k plus tax if I didn't do a trade in. Your truck has a bunch of upgrades- I'd say you did very well.

All the dealer installed stuff is generally pretty spendy as you noted.

But that said, you included TTL all in & that can vary things a lot.

Some states have very different sales tax structure or plate/title/doc fees.

Pretty sure IL has a limit for the max doc fee a dealer can charge.

But assuming the average, since they were asking $46,xxx including their fluff parts installed fee,

you got it for (guessing) $35/$36 grand plus TTL. If you bring their installed option back

down to reality, that is still $8-$9 grand off of sticker.

This sort of thing is where fuzzy math comes to play on the internet. Some people include

their trades, or leave out licensing or only say they got X off of sticker. There are many

variables & it CAN be tough to compare apples to apples via forums. The main(important) thing

is if you are happy with the truck &/or can swing the payments.

That was the final price after trade, dealer sale price and rebates and 3 weeks of negotiations. New truck with 50 miles on it, nothing wrong. MSRP was $41, 540 dealer sale price was $37,786, almost $5,000 in rebates and my trade. I had him down to $26,150 but then I added leather and a spray in bed liner which raised up to the final price. I did the same thing with my 2010 at the same dealer.

Ah ok. You had your trade factored in. I was about say that is the best price I've ever seen for 2014.

Nice truck.
