Price paid?

Have one coming soon at nearly $2,000 below actual invoice (as it appears on the buy order), and will get all applicable rebates/incentives (including a bonus tag discount) based on the date the truck hits the ground. That's pretty good. As far as being the most intelligent person on the site --- hardly, just a lot brighter than you.

yes you are, first fact you got right. good luck with your new truck.

For a guy who had to ask about the cost of oil changes on a truck he has not purchased, how best to use a fre 2k incentive he does not qualify for until his truck arrives, etc you actually sound like a real tool going on and on with a guy on the interwebs over a non-consequential topic.

Can we keep it to price paid and stay away from the measuring contest?

My 1st post on this forum.

Just picked up my new 2017 GMC Sierra All Terrain w/ Premium pkg. Crew Cab Short Box 4x4 with Sunroof and Trailer Brake in Summit White.

MSRP: $54,955.00

Invoice: $52,128.00

Price Paid: $39,955.00

Dealership was running a $15,000.00 off MSRP promotion on this particular truck so I jumped on it. It had all the exact options that I wanted. Drove 300 miles roundtrip to get it.

Included in that discount was a rebate of $5909.00 that came from GM and the remaining $9,091.00 was a dealer discount.

Did not have to negotiate at all as this is over 27% off MSRP. All other dealerships in the PNW are around $44-46k for this same truck.

I also paid an additional $2,750 for a full Bumper-to-Bumper Extended Warranty for 7 years/100k miles. They offered it for $5,000 and I negotiated that down. Never bought an extended warranty before but considering the amount of computers and technology this truck has, I figured it was worth it this time.

I live in Olympia, WA and bought from Autotown GMC in Gladstone, OR. From what I've seen on their website, they offer these promotional prices on certain trucks on a regular basis.

Judging by what I've seen on these forums, anything over 20% off is good so my 27% off is great. I was considering even flying out to Laura GMC to get one, but I don't think I've even seen them sell for this low price.

My advice is to be patient. I've been looking for around 3-4 months and just waiting until a deal this like popped up.

Damn that's a crazy good deal! I just bought the same truck but in black and with a 6.2 a few weeks ago. Msrp was $57600 and paid $45995 at Lauras. Was waiting for a few months also and thought I got a steal. Great find!!

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I am really enjoying this truck. The technology in this truck is mind blowing.

I saw post over in price paid and have added that dealer to my favorites. I saw they had another one like yours at the same price too. Hoping they get some crew cab standard beds in stock.

Sure, mindblowing. Coming out of a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with pretty much nothing tech-wise, not even bluetooth or navigation.

I keep finding new things in this truck that I had no idea it could do or even knew that any vehicle had in it.

Ok, it does have some features that, if you've never had them, are nice/new. And the nannies package is important to some. But overall, no great shakes. It doesn't even have push button start - hardly mind blowing IMHO.
