Picked up a GMC crew cab z71 SLT the last day of the 20% sale.

52K sticker,

38,800 plus TTL (traded in a 15 LTZ, so didnt have much tax, which helped actually make payments go down - and I got a heck of a deal on the LTZ to begin with)

Looking to lease a 2016 Sierra Denali 6.2 Ultimate Package. MSRP 62445. They are offering 637 per month as price for 39 months 15000 miles. Does this seem like a fair deal to everyone or could I probably do better?

OK, maybe I'm misunderstanding this 20% off thing. My math puts 20% off a 52k sticker at 41.6k. So how'd you get them to do 20% plus a little more? I thought other offers couldn't be combined once you took the 20% deal?

Truck was dealer invoice price minus 20% off MSRP.

I bought a 16 Silverado LT Z71 during the 4th of July sale. Window sticker was $49,080 I paid $38,800 out the door including tax/title and all prep fees. I got them to throw in a spray in bed liner as well.

If you break it down I I paid about $35,900 for the truck. I work for General Motors and got the truck cheaper than my EE discount price.

I brought my own financing and did not have a trade in.

Not a bad price. I worked 3 dealers over the phone and ended up driving 3 hours away to get mine. I got a good deal but now see some advantages of shopping local.

I do believe in getting what you want and may have to pay more otherwise it could cost more long term.

The only thing I didn't get was integrated brake option, mine didn't come with but got everything else,I don't tow but might in couple years.

Wanted one color only, color match bumpers, crew cab, nav, newer Apple CarPlay,3.42 gears, and 5.3.When you start adding hp,paint bumpers ect our cheap msrp trucks just got more expensive, and time consuming.

Just a heads up for future owners just don't settle on lowest priced, some options can be added when funds available.

Bed liners, rims tires, bed lights are easy.

Some Dealers like mine were only dealing on a few trucks,my same truck with bed liner and brake controller could cost me 5,000 more.Find right dealer is key as said above,I went to dodge a 2015 ram in mid year 2016 wanted top dollar, went to GMC bought two cars from no deals,Chevy dealer wanted to deal.I hear opposite/vise versa on here.

Maybe someone can start good dealer thread, rewarding them on good deals and making owners happy, prices will drop around the board.

About to pull trigger on:

16 Sierra 4wd SLT z71 double cab 5.3 with 20" polished rims

Msrp: 48980

Price paying

35200+ttl

I feel like it's a super deal but I really wanted the 6.2 crew 4wd. Then again I never need 4wd, don't need a crew for me and the gf, and have a sports car for when I want power so maybe it's best I don't get (spend) exactly what I want!
