I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2016 SLT Crew Cab tomorrow. Not sure how great of a deal this is but I really didn't want to let the Private Offer go to waste. So many people try to get one and can't. I wasn't even trying and it just popped up. They are the only dealer to offer me $36,900 for my 2015 SLT Crew Cab with almost 18,000 miles on it. Let me know what you all think.

MSRP 56,950

Dealership sale price 51,957

Consumer Cash 1,000

Incremental Cash 1,000

Bonus Cash 1,500

Farm Bureau 500

Private offer 1,500

Total 46,457

Equity in my trade 1,179

Total 45,278

If you back out the $1500 then their deal is about 16%, which is ok. I think the average around here is about 20% with some being more and some less. If you want it and it makes sense to trade in your 2015 then go for it.

Thanks! I appreciate your input. They are the only ones to offer me $36,900 for my trade. Everyone else is coming in at 34-35 and they won't even try to bring it up close to that. Don't really know that it is worth $9,500 to trade up one year. The new truck has a few extras that mine doesn't but nothing I can't live without. I think it might be smarter to wait and trade for a completely redesigned truck in a couple years. I'm pretty sure I will want one.

Not much info here. What was MSRP? You tell us where you did not get it. Care to tell us where you did?

Would it be unreasonable to try to get 20% off on an all Terrain x? I qualify for the GM supplier discount but was hoping to be closer to to $45k (MSRP is $56,875). This will be my first GMC and have always had Honda's and Toyota where they don't budge off of MSRP very much. Ive been trying like crazy to get a personal offer from gmc.com, but no dice.

Thinkings of making a offer for this but what should i offer? For a truck that's almost 2 year's old? Thanks , 957b74d7060d3bd9aa3e479daa031e88.jpgI assume

I assume that price is the asking price? What is the MSRP on that?

So 20% would 34k. But like you said it is a 2015 so I would assume you could get more than the "norm" off it. Maybe start at 32k and see what they say. Some dealers seem to not give a crap if things move or sit so they may take the bait and negotiate or just tell you it is what it is. Good luck in whatever you decide.

With the All Terrain X package being so new, would trying to get 20-22% off of MSRP be asking too much? MSRP is $56,895 and I'd like be somewhere are $45k. I've also got a $2,000 GMC trade in allowance coupon I plan on using. I'm located and buying in Houston, TX
