Thanks for the response. I ended up with a '15 Sierra and got 20% off so I'm fine. I'm trying to avoid this thread now, I don't want to know about better deals.;)

Agreed, taking my trade haggling into consideration which was 2k over KBB I saved close to 20% a few months ago at 2.7% for 75 months. I thought it was awesome until this thread lmao!

Me too, I bought before coming here and thought I did well at 18% off sticker.

But I guess if I would have come here first and read the vibration and other problem reports I might have bought another brand.

Overall the truck has been great and I am happy.

Picked up a 2015 Z71 Crew Cab 2LT Monday with heated seats, LT Plus, All Star and a couple of other add-ons for $33900. List price was $48145. Guess 29.6% off isn't to bad.

You beat me! That's a smoking deal man. Well done. I probably would have advised my fiancee to pick up the Z71 with LT Plus for 1400 more.

I got my 2016 Sierra Denali [Crew cab, short box, 6.2L V8, onyx black/black] for $1,000 under dealer invoice + $1,000 allowance.

Bought at the end of December, so deals were easy to make. I felt good about it...well below sticker price.

Figured I'd share my perfect storm of a story. My fiancee was needing a truck as she recently totaled her vehicle.

Here's what we got: 2015 Silverado 2WD Crew-Cab, All-Star Edition, leather, life-time tint, My LINK, Bed Liner.

MSRP: $45,365

PRICE w/ rebates and negotiation: $32,500

Total Discount: $12,865 or 29% off MSRP.

Factors that were in play: year-end sales event, last day of year and for back-dating to December targets, mass inventory here in Texas, and my experience being in software sales(negotiating all the time).

I called around to all the dealers in the DFW area and let their internet sales manager know that I'd be driving away with a truck by EOB. We were looking for a steal and a vehicle with the options she wanted. Anything less and we'd walk.

Some were willing to play ball while others weren't.

Needless to say, 29% off MSRP is attainable, but you need to have the right approach and the right timing.

Which dealer did you end up buying from? I am in Oklahoma and would be open to driving down for a better deal. Thanks!

2016 Double Cab 5.3 4x4 All Star

MSRP was $44k. Had I purchased, it would have been $30k after incentives and GM employee discount. I ended up leasing for 2yrs/24k......$125/mo with nothing due at signing :)

Anyone else get a private offer from GMC? Over the last 2 years I've probably built 200 slt's without an offer. This January I've got 3 offers for 1500 each. They expire this month.

YPD, I have built about the same and can't get one to pop up! I am about to purchase and this would help. Any chance you would want to share one of those private offers? If not that's alright. I drive a Toyota Tacoma now and looking to get into a GMC.

Thanks!

Chris
