Price paid?

Anyone recommend leasing? I am on the fence about it and trying to figure out if its worth it ok....There are some EXCELLENT lease offers....Just a bit of background:

I drive less then 9k miles per year (especially after I graduate college), but I feel that I won't feel like the trucks "mine"....Has anyone seen or know about there buy-after lease works? Was it worth it?

I did lease my truck. I drive more than you, but got a 15,000 mile/year lease. I just didn't want to commit to a long-term finance term with some of the issues with these trucks. There's no way I could have a monthly payment as low as my lease if I had financed anyway. I looked at a used 2011 GMC before leasing mine and was not happy with the frame rust not to mention the price. My end of lease buyout is very reasonable, so if this truck holds out, I will seriously consider purchasing it. If I'm having issues with this truck at lease end, I will just walk away.

PLEASE DO NOT PUT MONEY DOWN ON YOUR LEASE! My dealer originally wrote me a lease deal giving me $3K for my trade. I told them I was not going to give them (the dealer) $3K for the "privilege" of renting this truck. I asked the salesman if he would give $3K to a landlord for renting an apartment knowing he will never get that $3K back when he moved out. Of course he wouldn't! After negotiating, they gave me the same offer with no money down or trade in. I have since sold my car privately for $4,500 and put that money away so I can use that for my next vehicle purchase.

FWIW, I feel like this truck is mine.

Very sound Advice.

If you happen to Lease, after reading that you are a college student I am assuming that you around the age of 20-24, and you will drive A LOT MORE than you think, so I would make sure if you predict 9k a year, lease at 12k. You never know what might happen and you do not want to be way over your mileage.

I am 27. Just finally finishing something I should've a long time ago. I would absolutely get a 12-15k/per year lease. Any idea how much more money they charge in comparison to 10k?

Any difference can be negotiated away. Find a dealer willing to work with you.

Looked at a new leftover 2015 Sierra Double cab today. 15 miles on it. Base version with tow package for $27,700. 33k Sticker. Black Friday Special.

Shook like a wet dog on a smooth freeway at 50-60 mph. I was hoping maybe I would find one cheap that wasn't a "problem truck"

I passed on it.

Working out the final details on a 2014 Sierra Regular Cab.2WD. Brand new. Late June 2014 build.

Comes with GM bedliner, tie downs, and trailering package (Full frame hitch with locker rear end)

Cloth interior with drivers seat lumbar adjustment.

Dealer was stuck with a dozen of them and is clearing them out at $19,900 each.
