towing with new truck

how long should i wait before i start towing with my new ride? its a duramax and im not sure how long i should wait thanks

My Dealer said approx. 800 klm or 500 Miles.

Keep it easy on the truck for those first 500. And then when you do tow, you should follow the new ring and pinion break in procedure, since it is brand new, but from the factory:

thanks im taking it nice and easy . have about 3 weeks before i have to tow my boat and should be over 1000 miles at that point. it weighs about 10 grand with the trailer. the 03 did it with ease so im sure the new one will be better. going to do the 1st oil change at 2500 miles then go to the 5000 mile intervals. dealer threw in the 1st oil change when i bought the truck
