Appreciate the nice comments!

I absolutely love this truck. I love the way it rides with the TGC 2.5" and the new tires. Now im getting ready for spring and kayaking weather. Trying to decide options on hauling the yak with the truck, so I will be looking at racks and getting some bed protection.

That is how I carried mine last year. I was thinking of fabricating a bar across the back from the post holes that would give some support and raise the yak up a bit.

It would keep the nose down and give some support to the body of the boat. Plus my tailgate could be opened without letting the yak down. This option seems much more viable than a roof rack and much more affordable.

Fog light mod in the works.

Picked up a set of bumper caps with fog holes from rockauto.com and they are soon to be in the paint booth. New OEM fog light switch is en route. Fabricated fog wiring harness with primary that will be fed from the circuit panel connected to the fog relay.

Also picked up a 10K+ lumen, 20" LED bar for the bumper (OPT7 C2 22").

I haven't decided if I want to do 2x 3" cube fogs in each cap or if I want to do a single 6" bar in each cap. To me the 6" bar looks a lot better than the dual cubes.

Here is a shot of one with the 6" bar in the caps.

I'm on the fence with rhe rigid fad. I prefer stock but between the two options you have, I'd go with the single 6".

I'm really liking the single 6" option over the two cubes, although stock fogs have crossed my mind a time or two.

Oh, and I will not be going with Rigids, I know they're the best in the business, but there are other brands that stack right up with them for alot less $$. The 20" bar is by OPT7, looking at options for the 6" bars now.

Bumper slot for the 20".

Just dropped the bumper caps off at the shop and ordering an air deflector for paint as well.

Oh and while I was there I was able to see the different variations of the paint. They're only variations because the paint from the factory could be affected by numerous variables. There are 8 variations, but the standard variation matched my truck exactly.
