BCM reprogram/driver seat movement dealer visit

At the dealership to have the driver seat movement issue "diagnosed". They found that they need the extra clips for the seat as mentioned in other posts. Ordering them and they should be in next week to address the issue.

 

I also had them drive it for some rough transmission shifting from 1-2 and 2-3. It seems if you coast at all during that gear transition that when you get back on the gas it slams into gear. I was told by the tech that there is a recall foe an update on the BCM (body control module), which they believe may help. I will try and respond once I have some drive time on it to see if it makes a difference.

 

To anyone with any issues with their new truck, work with Jennifer the GM customer service rep on the forum. She mad this process seamless and very quick. The dealer knew about the technical service bulletins before I even got to the dealership (which never happens for me). Thanks again Jennifer

I had my truck in last Saturday for the alignment after leveling kit and they said there was a recall and they would flash something. I'll check my paperwork today. If it was not the BCM, I may head back. I notice rough shifts occasionally (now over 1500 miles).
