How will the 5.3 with 3:73 tow vs 07 vmax 6.0 with 4:10's

The new 5.3 with max trailering and 3:73's has a higher tow rating than the 6.0 with 4:10's

I find it hard to believe? what do you guys think?

• Has anyone towed anything heavy with these new trucks yet?

I think you will be just fine. The new 5.3 has a lot more low end grunt than the old 5.3 had and the 6-speed transmission gives you a mechanical advantage over the last generations 4.10 and 4-speed combination

I agree, it should tow very nice.
