2014+ Leveling Kits

Recommended Posts

I'm going to install my procomp 2.25" leveling kit this weekend (upper and lower strut spacer). Any special considerations I should be aware of... Or tips that might ease the process...

Videos? Etc... Thanks in advance!

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Her she is. 2 inch level. BMF REPR 20 inch. Dick Ceepek fun country 305/55/20. I have a slight rub on the felt liner( I want to zip tie and would love some advice on where you attach it to) and a little on the plastic ( would love some advice as well)

I've spent a week slowly reading through every page and post. lots of awesome looking trucks. I've made my mind up on some 275/70/18 Grabber AT-2's for my double cab lt stock wheels and fully planned on doing the rc 2" front only level. I know the tires would easily fit with the level, but i think I read somewhere in here that they might fit without? As i was reading, I hadn't made up my mind on what i wanted to do yet, but i don't feel like reading though all that again! Any input of this would be greatly appreciated.

I'd love not to alter the suspension at all but if I have to, it outweighs how much i don't want 265/65/18's and the sr-a's have to go soon.

I already have 275 70 R18 Copper AT 3, cant wait to install and share the results with you guys.

As i live in Dubai it will take 8 to 10 days for it to reach to me.

So I ordered the 2.5" Rough Country leveling kit for my 2015 Silverado. The leveling kit arrived today. When I opened the kit everything seemed to be there and exactly what expected. However, when I opened the separate box for the lower strut spacer the spacers look different than what I was expecting. The lower strut spacer that is pictured in the following link is what came with my kit (http://www.roughcountry.com/gm-leveling-lift-kit-1307-8.html) and I was expecting the lower strut spacer that is pictured in the this link (http://www.roughcountry.com/gm-suspension-lift-kit-1303.html). Is one spacer better than the other or does it even matter. Let me know what you guys think.

Sorry for the links and not pictures. I haven't spent the time to figure out which is the best way to attach pictures.

I would not think that it would matter. Both look to be basically the same thing. Just one looks like it would work better for advertising purposes. If you would rather the spacers that you thought you ordered then email Rough Country or call them and have them send the correct ones. If you are not worried since they will both do the same job and you won't be seeing them all the time, then I wouldn't worry about it

The one you received just looks to be maybe an older style or design. What does the materials feel like? The ones you expected isn't plastic, but feels kind of like a plastic. As said, it looks like it does the same thing and the fitment guide for it says it fits from 07-present 1500s so it should fit. Maybe someone sent you an older kit.

2nd link isn't working. But the first link is what the lower spacer is supposed to look like. Looking up the 1303 kit in the second link I saw is the 2.5" kit so maybe your talking about the top strut spacer? It's kind of like a triangle with rounded sides more or less.
