2014+ Leveling Kits

Recommended Posts

I'm looking into getting a 2.5 rc level and 275/65/20s for my 2014 silverado 4x2. Has anyone done this? I know the 2wd's sit about a half inch lower than the 4wd's so im a little worried about having enough clearance for the tires. My truck measures 38" from the ground to the wheel well in back and 35.5" in front.

Ok guys I'm about to pull the trigger here shortly I need some help. I'm going to run the icon vehicle dynamic stage 2 suspension it states 5" back spacing max so I figured run the fuel maverick +1 offset that has a 5" back space. I want to run the nitro Terra grapplers I really don't want to go crazy on the size would rather not have to cut or modify anything. What size tires do you guys think? 275/60/r20, 285/55/r20 or something different?

I really like the look of this truck.

I read an earlier post that someone had installed 275/60/20 tires on stock wheels of a 2014 Silverado or Sierra 4x4 without a leveling kit and they did not rub. My brother has a 2014 High Country 4x4 w 275/60/20 Michelin AT's on stock ride height and they don't rub either. I'm sure this would be the largest tire size one could install w/o some sort of lift. Anyway, the stock 4x4 trucks are already 1" higher in the front compared to a stock 4x2 truck. Must be that added 1" of ride height that allows this size tire to run w/o any rubbing.

I just bought a new 2014 High Country 4x4 short box and considering 275/60/20 when the stock tire wear. In lieu of a leveling kit, what other options are there? Someone had mentioned Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. Are these available yet for the 2014's? If not, are there other adjustable shocks available for this purpose?

Thanks...

Also, I talked to a technical sales guy named Brian over at Bilstein today at their NC facility about availability of the height adjustable 5100 shocks for the GM 1500 pick up trucks. He said that they should release by mid to late October 2014. He expressed that they were just doing some final product tuning before release to the market.

He said that a press release would come first to Facebook and the Mass Media. I'm looking forward to getting a set.

It looks like they did some custom work on the grille. Maybe they did a 2" front level as well...

Looks like a Rally Edition. Wheels and stripes, painted grille surround. Do they level those via front lift or rear drop?

That's a Factory setup with the Rally II Package......brand new 3 miles. It didn't come home with me as the title hasn't made it to the dealer yet. It's the first one they have ever received. In fact all the press releases on the new Rally II package say it doesn't come out till tomorrow :)

That's what I was thinking two minutes too late... Great looking setup though. and the gap between the wheels and fenders look it is not leveled. Could be the angle though. Do the Rally's come with any leveling modification?

This is the GM stock photo of the Rally Edition. If you look at the fender gaps front and rear, it doesn't look leveled, but the white Rally Edition pictured above definitely looks like it has a front level... ????

Rigid had mounts for LED fogs for the GMC's? I hadn't seen those? Do you have a link by any chance?

The rake doesn't look as extreme as others but definitely does not look level to me.
