2014+ Leveling Kits

Recommended Posts

Just ordered the TGP 1.5''. I Tow so I will probably install as a 1'' then see how it look/tows and can always add the other spacer. Also don't want too thick of a spacer and deal with ride quality ball joint issues.

Each spacer (top or bottom) is adds 1/2'' lift.

I still like some rake so the front doesn't "look" higher than rear (mabye something to do with body lines??)

Then add a set of A/T tires in 275/60/20 OWL (mabye these Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar 640AB & Max Load 2,680, I was looking at Cooper AT3 but dont come in OWL) and done...for now.

Here is the front +1 with the top and 1 bottom spacer. No ride quality change and only had to unbolt struts and loosen sway bar to install then align. Towing camper this weekend so I may or may not add the extra 1/2 inch bottom spacer. Running boards are a bit slanted to.

For the 2" & 2.5" kit you need to unbolt a little more. UCA, steering rod ball joint, sway bar, and to be safe ABS wire bracket, brake line bracket then remove the strut assembly.

Not too bad though. It took me 35-40 mins on the first side then less than 20 on the other side once I knew the order of R&R.

Great kit too.... so far. Ride is a little stiffer in front but still a very comfortable ride

The tire should fit depending on the wheel offset. The closer you stay to the stock offset the better chance you'll have not to trim. (There's one black SLE w/stockers in particular that's running a 305/60, 2" level and no rubbing)

-12 like mine would possibly still need a touch of trim. It all depends on you if you how aggressive you wanna go and if you mind a little trimming.

*edit*

Actually here's the truck

After days of researching several small lifts, mainly budget 4" Fab and 3.5" RCX, I decided to go the safe route and ordered the RCX 2.5 leveling kit. This will hopefully hold me over until I decide what lift I really want.

Here's my new Sierra All Terrain SLT 6.2 w/ 2" tuff country leveling kit and 275/65/20 Toyo Open Country tires. The tires were rubbing a little at full turn, so I had the install guys trim the felt a little. It works perfectly now and the tires look great.

Are your tires the Toyo Open Country A/T or M/T?

2.5" leveling kit 275/65/20 is what I have, 34.2" tall, the 35s rubbed too much

That's the same tire size I'm gonna go with. Did you have to trim anything?

Looks like they are AT2s

That's what I thought, just wanted to be sure because I'll be ordering a set soon and I cant decide which one I should get. I know the size will be 275/65/20 but still undecided Toyo Open Country AT or MT. I might go with the MT for the more aggressive look.
