Pulling toy hauler with my truck

Hi everyone.

I picked up a 30 ft toy hauler today. It weighs in at 5600 lbs. I'm thinking 2000 in extra weight. Is that to much for my 2013 1500. Its has the 6.2. Any thoughts to be greatly appreciated

You will be fine. My 26 ft weighs about 10k loaded plus the extra weight in the truck

You are fine,You should be somewhere around the 10,600 lb. towing capacity with your 6.2/3.73's.

My '07 with the 6.0/3.73's is rated to tow 8,500 lbs.

You will find that you can tow more after your first pull. Congrats!

Thanks guys...It runs great but that trailer seems to make it work pretty hard.

It's going to work hard... That's a lot of weight, but as everyone said it should be fine.
