Received a call from the GM rep I was dealing with. They are saying it is characteristic of the truck to vibrate and they can't do anything for me wtf they have definitely lost a customer for life once I get rid of this POS Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Tim, if GM won't work with you and you haven't tried tires yet, I would go out and get a set of Michelins. They have a 30 day ride guarantee, and if they don't solve your vibration, take them back to the tire shop that sold them and get your money back. If they do cure the vibration, take the bill to your dealer and see what they will do. If they don't pay for them at least your shake is gone. I agree we shouldn't have to pay 1k+ for tires that ride well but hell, at this point I would gladly fork over 1k if it solved the vibes. Granted I think it is an issue beyond tires, but if you haven't tried them at least you can rule that out if your dealer hasn't. Just a thought. Good luck!

Earlier you posted the dealer offered you another truck? And they only let you test one? Surely they had others to offer or test drive.

If you haven't done it yet go to page 34 of your warranty book. Follow the instructions exactly. If you haven't started Step 2 do so now.

Just read step 2 of the warranty. I've also been that route. GM rep says that's how the trucks ride. The dealers are our eyes and ears and they say the truck is normal....

It says to call a GM rep and they will work with you and the dealer. It says if that fails move to step 3 which is report it to the BBB. My step 3 will b with NJ lemon law.

Well all of a sudden i started feeling a vibration while I was driving home from work. I was driving around 65mph and it didn't go away the whole way home. I don't know if i'm being paranoid but the vibration was not there before. I have been driving it around and im getting it at all speeds. Even at idle my steering wheel is vibrating. I'm calling my dealership tomorrow but i don't know how they will help me since their customer service is not what i expected.

20" wheels on Goodyear Eagle LS-2 tires

5300 miles on the odometer.

Has anyone else noticed a severe lack of GM customer service reps vowing to help?...LOL appears these trucks are just too riddled with issues for them to be of any "help" anymore. .. in the beginning I would see numerous posts from them..haven't seen one in a hot minute.

You're exactly right! I saw GM customer service all the time on these forums trying to help...

Well i'm taking my truck to the dealer in a couple of hours. What should I have them look over first and should I let them know that this is a known issue?

I don't think it is as common as you would be lead to believe reading this thread. Both dealers I have been dealing with say they haven't had many vibration complaints.

Also I am not sure there is one fix for the majority of the complaints. The ones that have found a fix and posted in this thread have different things corrected. Tires, motor mounts, drive shafts, torque convertors, exhaust systems and rear ends have all solved the problem for some.

Your issue sounds different than most which are at highway speeds and above 40mph. If yours is vibrating at idol (and stopped?) it sounds like a motor mount or engine problem and you should be able to easily show the dealer what it is doing.
