It looks like the vibration saga continues. I traded my truck 3 months ago for a 2016 Ford F150 Crew Cab 5.0L 4x4. It was the best move that I have ever made on a vehicle given my bad luck with GM. I will NEVER own another GM product in my lifetime nor will my son or daughter (their decision) after seeing most of my problem vehicles.

-1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera - Infamous factory paint defect blamed on acid rain

-1995 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab 2WD - Bucking and jerky engine when warm (61,000 miles). GM lead mechanic told me to trade it when it was running good after 5 failed attempts to diagnose and fix it on my dime.

-2001 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab 2500HD 4WD - Lemon lawed and bought back by GM despite making every attempt to discredit my case. After they lost the ruling, I was contacted in a last ditch effort to replace the engine so they did not have to buy it back.

-2015 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 4Wd - Traded after attempts to fix the vibration issues failed and GM was not interested in finding a solution or admitting a problem.

Here is my solution:

I wish you guys the best.

Well I am officially done with GM. They finally made things right. I can't go in to details but keep on them and they will make it right. I got myself a brand new 2016 F150 yesterday and love it. No shakes. And what do you know. It's a ecoboost. Never thought I'd buy a V6 truck but this ecoboost is something nice.

I'll translate, he believes some of us to be "forum trolls". They are a distant relative of the "blog plant".

My shake is real. My visits are very real. I'm taking it again tomorrow real. Wasting my time taking it to another dealer real. Being pissed about paying the note is way too real. I'd never even know this existed if my truck didn't do this crap.

Not at you C6Bill. I'm just with you on this. No plant here.

I got news for the non believers this thread is the real deal and I know From being a previous Viberado owner . With any forum your going to get false information or pots stirred and that's just nature of the beast . My heart sincerely goes out to those who are experiencing these issues and wishing them a cure to these problems with there GM truck . I was fortunate to were I just owned a base model work truck so I was able to get out of it without as much financial hardship as those that have 50,000 dollar trucks and are locked in or seeking help from the lemon laws. There going to be those that there defense mechanism kicks in because they cant afford to get out of there truck so they put blinders on to not see the issue or feel it I should say . I would bet over 80% or higher is the percentage of folks having vibrating/harmonic issues . But believe it or not the 20% that aren't and saying they are, actually are helping the cause to fix it and let it be known so we should thank those to [emoji6]

Been a while since I have posted in here but religiously read post's every day... May 2015 is when I noticed my SEVERE Vibration with 3500k miles on it... After a Tire Balance (LF was 1 1/2OZ off) and rotation in June 2015 my vibes were gone... I have been following thread because I am nervous to rotate tires again... Well now the truck has 10,200k miles on it and tomorrow, 06-18-16, I am getting the Free Oil change, 27 point inspection and TIRES ROTATED... Has anyone had their Vibe issues return after a Tire Rotation?

Stay Tuned..

Dan

So I dropped it off and Happy to Report, It still feels OK... But I still have a quick story... Dropped it of Friday Night... I get a call early Sat morning saying they can't find my Locking Lug Nut Key and they can't do the tire rotation... The only time I had used it before was to have a Tire shop repair a slow leak last year... So now I am like WTF... I ask the guy "I assume you guys looked everywhere"... He says I personally looked my self... I ask him so what can be done now? Can I order I new one? He proceeded to talk about cutting them off and replacing with new for $100,,, That didn't sit well with me so I told him to do nothing and I will get back to him... 2 hours later, and after cleaning out three junk drawers trying to find it, I decided to pay them a Visit to look myself... Damn thing was right where is should be,, In the bottom Glove Compartment,,, REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! He says "I didn't look in the bottom one".. No apologies.. Nothing... I also found a tiny nick in the chrome on one wheel and I wasn't really looking... It stood out because the mechanic put his finger on it and wiped the dust off and made it shinier... I haven't had the chance to inspect further... While escorting back to the shop office he pokes into a break room where 4 derelict looking dudes where pounding down pizzas and he hands one of them the key... No words exchanged... I didn't even get a slice... Turned out to be a big waste of time but at least it was found and got the rotation..

Well we made the journey home and still had varying degrees of vibration throughout the trip. The steering assist also went out again at highway speeds.

It's now at the dealership it was purchased and they are working on it.

1st issue was a replacement steering unit. Will be in on Wednesday.

I have a loaner 2016 Silverado, same overall configuration, and I can't believe how much better it is than mine. All around better: better pickup, better throttle response, no shaking or vibrating. It's making me feel way worse about my truck.

My dealer and GM CS is on it and I'm hopeful they'll do right by us. I'll post back with updates as I get them.

Welp GM has made their final repair attempt for my vibration issues.

3 weeks ago they asked me to take my leveling kit off so they can move past tires. I complied and returned it to the dealer. In the 9 days they had it they re-rfb'd the tires with the proper hub mount for the balancer (why they didn't have this in the first place boggles the mind) and then ran the 3 way PICO and found it to be "in spec".

What pisses me off is the assistant manager was backing me up for about a month agreeing with my assessment that there was an abnormal vibration. And after this latest attempt where the vibration has changed but not gone away at all, he puts on his turn coat and says it's "within gm spec".

Told the GM CS rep I've been dealing with that the series of events makes no sense and that I am not satisfied with the results. Waiting to hear back.

Truck has been at the dealer cumulatively 38 days and 215 miles for "vibration analysis".
