I've had two sets of aftermarket wheels and tires (plus the stockers) and it still vibrates... It's not the tires.

Same here, Factory wheels with good years. Raceline rims with toyo at II's, Fuel wheels with toyo at II's. Les Schwab went through 10 tires and got the RF numbers below 8 on all 4 and it still vibrates. Definitely not the tires.

2015 Silverado with a stage 2 procomp 6" lift. My truck has been to the dealership 10 times for shaking. now after 2 weeks at the shop they are saying its my wheels because they cant find anything else wrong with the truck. i have had 2 rental trucks both 2016 1500's one was a work truck the other was an LT and they both shake. The dealer is now saying they will not work on my truck again till i replace all 4 tires which will cost me $1600 they also informed me i have to take my truck back once i have new tires if the shaking continues then they will talk about buying the truck back. I know its not the tires so i dont want to spend 1600$ but at this point i dont know what else to do. I have taken it to all 3 local dealerships and they all say i can only have it serviced at the dealership i bought it from which i know is 100% bullshit.

Surprised they didn't blame it on your lift.

Has anybody changed the factory shocks to Bilstein 4600/5100 or other well known manufacturer and felt a difference in vibration?

I put the 5100's on. Rides better but still shakes.

They installed the lift so it would still be there responsibility. I had the dealer put stock tires on my truck and test drive it. They said the problem is fixed i said wait to change the tires till i get there. I test drove my truck with stock tires and still had the same exact issue. My truck is now at 4 wheel parts and my friend called me to say he checked out the truck front to back and everything is perfect and he even checked the balance of my drive shaft which he said was good. Now my truck is going back to the dealer to sit for a week before they tell me my truck is fixed again.

When you confronted them after they said it was fixed with the tire replacement, what did they say? I would have gotten that in writing and then afterward how it was not to use it against them for lying.

I agree 10x is too many. It's not the tires. how many miles are on the truck, and when did you first complain of the shaking?

Get mine back tomorrow. They put another brand of tires on it and surprise it didn't help. Now according to GM they want me to remove my level kit before they proceed beyond tires. So guess what I'm doing this weekend.... so frustrating. GM is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Well Jesse, as I recall, you've mentioned the Tunda a time or two. In event you do indeed choose the Tundra, as a going away present I've attached below the Tundra Forum URL for your easy access. I noticed that there are even a couple of sub-forums addressing vibration and shaking. So, you should feel right at home there. Happy Trails :)

Care to share the links to those sub forums you've noticed ???

That was my plan but the dealer said it might show a warning light if I disconnect the Magneride shocks. I need check further but in my case I think my shocks are bad. According to the dealer they have no way to test them other than replace and they think mine is working as designed, ha ha.
