"It appears not as bad as GM. Only 119 replies and 17544 views."

Umm, appears that the GM replies are about the same ole 100 people who've posted about 175 times :) On a serious note though, it's obvious that there's a very vocal small minority that's trying very hard to elevate this issue. I'm not convinced their motives are pure. Just saying....

And just who would say doesn't have pure motives? Abominable who has basically rebuilt his entire truck trying to find the problem? TJay, who has been working with GM for 3 years trying to get the radio issues fixed? The people who have dealt with lemon law or BBB atleast once because they want a truck that functions properly? Myself who has been trying to find a lawfirm to represent us in a class action, so we can all get our vehicles fixed or a refund to get something that does work properly?

Trust me, it would be far easier for me to go and get an attorney, and file 4 separate suits on behalf of myself for all of the different issues in my truck, but I'm trying to help everyone with these issues. We all already know that these trucks have lost multiple thousands if not over $10,000 in value because other dealers have picked up on the problems, and people f*cking with my hard earned money is something that I will not stand by and let happen.

So please tell me, who here has unpure motives? All I can see are a group of people who have an issue that a Manufacturer refuses to fix, and are working toward a common resolution in different methods. Maybe I'm biased/ blinded because my POS truck has so many problems, but I just don't see it.

So please if you have a problem with us working toward a resolution, feel free keep those thoughts private. We don't need people coming in here saying that what we are doing is wrong, when in all reality it's what GM is doing that is not only illegal, it is just flat wrong to treat customers the way they are treating us.

RANT OVER

Well, hope your rant was good for you! No issues here with anything you said. After all, it's your prerogative to speak your mind - except this " please if you have a problem with us working toward a resolution, feel free keep those thoughts private". This is where you cross the line. I have as much right to express myself as you. And, I will continue to do so whenever I wish. Ahh, this was good for me! Was it good for you, lol!

Not trying to start anything but why go against posters that are having this problem? If you had the problem and paid between 35,000 and 60,000 dollars for your truck would you not want it to run right? If you don't agree that it is a legit problem then just don't bother reading this thread.

There will be a quick fix on the horizon if you quit buying these vehicles.

Why should I have to quit buying instead of expecting it to be as advertised, you know "Professional Grade"? You don't know me or know that my local dealer has been great, went to bat for me TWICE. I now have a 16 on order hoping to get the latest greatest and no vibrations. You obviously have a good truck, that's all I want. Not asking for a "deal" or anything special, just want what I paid for and GM said they were selling. You can scoff at us but you are paying a price because other dealers are on to these trucks. The loss of value pain will be applied to all GM trucks not just the vibrators.

Well, guess I enjoy reading this thread so think I will just continue doing so. And btw, making a post every now and then when I feel the urge. I suppose you could just ignore my posts whenever you come upon them though. That's the best I can do for you ...

I have the same issue, my dealer has been trying to figure out with no luck. It was in the dealer last Tuesday and is going back cause its still not fixed. Has a vibration/ rumbling sound in floor board under hard acceleration over 78mph, it wont do it until it hits 78 and then continues up from there unless I slightly let up on gas peddle.

Try using the spring clamp method it solved the hard acceleration vibration for me, Didn't fix the smooth road vibration at 70 mph plus. I believe the WOT vibe is axle wrap causing the driveline angles to get far enough apart to create a driveline vibration. I ended up ditching the clamps and putting Deavers in the rear and the WOT problem is still gone. I wouldn't recommend the deavers if you tow or haul often, otherwise it'll require helper airbags or timbrens for the extra weight because the deavers get rid of the factory overload spring. One thing to check for with the hard accel vibe if it was like mine it happened whenever the RPM's got over 4700 at any speed and was especially bad at 75 mph +, that must be where the engines torque curve flexes the springs enough to get the pinion out of alignment. I got a picture of the springs clamps in my gallery if you want to see what they look like. Any autoparts place has them on the shelf for about 15 dollars.

Are the Denali's super adjusting 1,000 times a second shocks quelling any of the vibration issues or are the Denali trucks experiencing the vibrations as well?

Mine is worse than the Jeep Wrangler that I had before it.... which was a small part of the reason i got rid of the jeep in the first place.

sometimes it feels like unbalanced/out of round tires, other times it feels like I'm on a pogo stick, etc. ... haven't taken it to the dealer yet, this thread already has me

jaded about the kind of service to expect so I've been resisting taking it in....

If you want any form of recourse, you have to take it in, even if they don't do anything, the fact that you brought it in will work in your favor

Update

1/25 service manager called. GM approved 4 new tires. Ordered them. Call me Tuesday after test drive.

1/26 GM rep called to follow up. was calling service manager for update.

1/26 stopped by dealership late afternoon. Still waiting for tires. Call me Wednesday after test drive.

1/27 service manager called. 2 of 4 new tires are no good. RFB numbers were way off. Ordered 2 more.

Maybe later today will have them. Will test drive first then call me. Day 9 in the shop. Service manager is excellent to deal with..no BS and to the point. With that said, IF YOUR READING THIS GM, PLEASE BUY BACK AND LET ME MOVE ON. SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY! 1ST PAYMENT NOT DUE TILL MID FEB!

No I haven't. Ct lemon law is 4 visits for same problem. 30 cumulative days in the shop. The service manager I'm dealing with is outstanding and deserves a chance. If this doesn't resolve it that's my next step. I did speak with a lemon law attorney after I spoke to GM rep and he told me once the paperwork was sign I was stuck. The dealer, by choice could take it back but there's no law that says they have to. Also spoke to 2 close friends who happen to work at Honda and Subaru. Both said they not taking these trucks in for trade unless they get them dirt cheep.

It's funny how things work. For me this is my dream truck that I could never afford till I came across the deal I got and went over my max to buy it. My wife is also making 5yr sacrifice for me to have this. I have a 22yr old Chevy pick up that runs perfect but the frame rusted out. To bad it did, would've never went shopping..also thinking about starting a new thread of people that have test drove new trucks and found same issues. document what dealer, what truck by vin, so people will know to avoid. What do you think?

Shouldn't the U joint take care of any potential misalignment issue?

I have had my 2015 Silverado Crew Cab LT for a month and it has this console shaking issue. Taking to the dealership in the morning for that and a seatbelt problem. I'm not able to read the entire 515 page thread from 2013 until now. Has anyone been able to remedy this issue? I've seen some people talking about this buy back thing or tires/drive shafts out of alignment. I really love my truck and I don't want to give it up.

It seems to shake between 70-75 mph, but not all of the time. Sometimes it's more shaky than others. I've also been on smooth asphalt back roads and not felt it at all. Could it be something to do with rough concrete highways send the tires or something out of whack? I had a 90-something GMC a while back and the steering shook with the cab. Found out it was bad back tires.
