I see some of the post dates here back to 2013...hope I'm not too late.

I have a 2015 Silverado LT Double Cab 4x4 for about a month...just started driving on the highway and notice a vibration at 60-75 mph.

Brought back to the dealer and they tested it to 55mph and said it's a truck and some vibration is normal. Then the truck locked into 4 wheel drive and I brought it back to have the transfer case module re-programmed (that corrected the issue with the 4wd).

They also said it's possible the truck was in 4wd and that can cause vibration at highway speeds...I have owned 22 Suburbans, yukons, sierras, silverados and trailblazers since 1994...I never had a vibration issue like this before even in 4wd.

I was on the highway doing 65 and hit a slight bump and the truck went into a vibration/shimmy that I had to slow to 50mph real quick to stop the shake...

I brought the truck back and they had the service manager and their A truck mechanic drive it and said it's normal operation...For a 45K dollar truck...I'm very disappointed to say the least.

I've been a GM customer since I'm driving and never had this problem or lack of skilled mechanics look at any of my vehicles and respond with a shrug....amazing.

I'm totally lost now...I have no confidence in the mechanics and don't have time to live in the service department.

Hope this forum helps find a solution to this.

This shit is bananas lol. Filled tires to 38psi. Vibrates at 74. Like clock work. Lowered pressure to 32. Gone no vibration.

I need to try this...mine were at 40psi from dealer...just dropped it to 32psi and now looking forward to my drive to work in the morning.

I'll let you know !

Maybe if GM spent a little less money on advertising, they could actually make a good vehicle again... seeing all of their commercials about how they are the best rated truck drive me insane. Fix my mother F*cking truck, then maybe I'll give them some credit

Did the same thing, lowered the pressure on my 10 ply tires from 42 to 32 and significantly lowered the vibrations as well. Problem is the truck now handles like garbage leans in the turns and just has a squishy feel to it.

Anyone else that has had the vibes for a while check the lower portion where the struts welds to the mounting eye that connects to the lower control arm. Mine are starting to crack. They are not the original Rancho's that came on the truck but 6 month old Rancho RS9000's, I contacted Rancho to see if they will warrant them. Just curious if anyone else with the vibes is seeing cracks in this location on the factory struts. Part of it is poor weld quality where there was a void left from the weld process that has helped facilitate the crack propagation. Rancho's "lifetime warranty" doesn't include their quicklift struts they are covered by a laughable 90 day limited for work and material defects. But I'm giving them a chance to stand behind their product. These things only have 8000 miles on them. We shall see how they handle it.

Another fine Chinese made product. Or is it Mexico? Sri Lanka? Indonesia? Pakistan? Rumania? Laos? Vietnam? Nigeria? Uganda?

I just finished trading in my 2016 with 600 miles on it after the buy-back. Be careful of the deal they give you, as not all buy-backs are the same. They would only let me get some of equal or greater value. I would have done the corvette but I already own a GT500 and was not impressed with the Vette (By the way, the Vettes have valve issues. There are forums covering that.). I took the 2016 praying it wouldn't vibrate and my prayers were not answered. First chance I had, I converted it to the Tundra.

Be ready for "why are you trading in a 2016?" the first Toyota dealer was well aware of the vibration issue and had no interest in the truck, even with only 600 miles on it.

The LS7 had valve issues. That motor is in the C6Z and the Gen4 Z/28

I figured this would happen, just finished my first road trip to see grandkids for Xmas in my buyback Sierra. Yep, vibrations. How are we supposed to trade these lemons? Won't be long before every car company will know about them. We will have no trade in value, even if you lucked out and have a good one. We also don't know the long term affect on other parts of the truck, how many bolts will be loosened? How many snap fit plastic pieces will start loosening up? If I ever get out of this mess I will never touch another GM vehicle again.

I don't think anyone with one of these vibrators will ever give GM another chance, and hopefully people that read one of these forums before purchasing steer clear of their garbage vehicles as well. They won't even formally admit that there is an issue that they can't fix. I think if they formally admit it they know that quite a few more people that don't even realize they have a truck with issues will discover that they do whether it's because they never take the truck on the freeway and see speeds of 70 mph or because they just assume it "rides like a truck" which is bs, I've owned numerous trucks many of them GM and they never rode like this, even with mud terrain tires they didn't vibrate.

I know GM does not want to admit they have a problem but we all know they must know and it just amazes me how they can still be cranking out new trucks with this problem. The longer it goes the more chance they will go bankrupt fixing this problem. I don't care what it is but they have to be able to pick apart a truck one piece at a time to find what it is that causes this. I really like my truck (so far) if I could just get rid of the vibration.

Join the party, it seems most of the dealers are drinking the GM Cool-Aid, with "it's normal". Mine dumped it back on GM and simple stated on the RO, "no fix available".

I have scanned many of the over 800,000 hits on this web site; there are a lot of pissed off owners who will think twice about buying another GM product. I've driven GM trucks for the past 20 or so years and have never had vibration issues like I now have with my 2015 Sierra Denali.

I had the same problem with my 10-ply tires. Try putting the rear's at 32 and the fronts around 38. It seems to have helped mine some.
