Mine is there now...same issues as everyone here. Same fixes offered. 4th time going..Dont hold your breath..

I don't have vibration issues, so I haven't been there for that specifically. That being said, at least they are trying to fix it for you. Ancira would not even attempt fixes for any of the other small things I brought my truck in for.

Don't get me wrong. I like Cavender, They only sell the truck and try to fix it. But when the service manager pretty much blew me off about the info I learned on the internet, I felt she knew about the issues. They and all the rest are selling a product which they know has a defect and are betting on people laying down and putting their tail between their legs. Not happening here. Don't think anyone on here has had the issue fixed by any dealership.

My new 2015 GMC Sierra SLT All Terain 5.3ltr. 18"wheels. 6 speed trans.

Is there any connections to what engine, tire size, trim level or anything else that would maybe try to pin this down? Mine just started doing the shudder today (630 miles). Have anyone heard of the 2016's having this problem yet? If I can't get this fixed I am going to try and get a 2016 to replace it. It's a no money down lease so I can just walk away from it if I have to even thou I got a good deal when purchased. Someone at GM has to know something by now, this has been going on too long.

No direct link between engine size, trim, tire size, tire brand, etc. Most guys have it real bad with the Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires, I have the Eagle LS-2's. I think most people have it real bad with double and crew cabs due to the hydraulic body mounts on the rear of the cab.

I think these parts are fine (for the most part) they just don't meet the tight specs of such a stiff frame with nothing to absorb the imperfections. Something to do with cab mounts and engine mounts, more so the cab mounts cause the HD trucks have been on the same frame since 2011 with no issues until the k2 body was set on top of it, kinda makes you wonder

I test drove a 2016 two weeks ago, I'm driving a Tundra now. If you can walk away at no cost you should give it serious consideration.

And i've been a Chevy guy since 1979. Now I have a Toyota and a Mercedes in my garage.

If this is body mounts or something like you are saying wouldn't the shudder have been there from the beginning? My truck road smooth until today as I was taking a longer trip and now it even does it on the same shorter trip that I have done at least six times before with no shudder. So far other then that I love the truck. I has a 2013 before this one and it was flawless. I do have the Wrangler tires also.

My brother test drove a 15 crew cab today because he wants a Silverado instead of his 15 Colorado now... Needless to say, the dealer was right on the highway and I told him to take it for a ride on 75. When he came back he said the whole console and seat were shaking like crazy. He told me the salesman said the truck has been sitting a while and it was just the tires! I told him to forget about it and we left.

This is a quote from the original poster.

So I got it back from the dealer today and was told they test drove one from the lot and it had the same vibration and possibly even worse then mine. I was told GM admits there is a problem but at this time no solution. I was told to wait until there's a solution or the problem progresses.

Over 2 years now and still throwing parts at them.

I went back and looked through the first 10 pages and GM customer service was all over it. They have been a no show for some time now.

I think they know the problem but will cost them to much to fix it.

No vibs in mine (yet). With so many replies and views you would think someone would come up with a fix! There are smart people at GM that is why they don't have a fix.It would cost GM a boatload of $$$$.Cut their own throats. Now .. Maybe...If .... We if we had a reward of some sort it would up the Annie. Someone knows, they are not telling. ..Maybe start with a vib truck and start stripping her down and adding custom replacement parts until the vibs stopped!...Got any ideas????... Read one post where the truck didn't vib after being jacked up and wheels R +R. Let's figure this out. Think! Think! I have been. Someone be a Hero for this topic!

What shudder are you talking about? This thread is dedicated to the shake and vibration issues a lot of people seem to be having, not a shudder issue. If you could describe it maybe that will help me understand your issue.

I know a lot of people have had shudder issues with both the 6 and 8 speed transmissions

From what I can feel I call it a shudder but it is a shake or vibration in the whole truck not a "shudder" in the trans that is different. Almost feels like cold over inflated tires on a bad road. Just came back from a trip and it seemed to last the whole trip (about 80 miles) home on the highway doing between 60 and 70mph. I can feel it in the steering wheel but not that much. Mostly it is the whole truck that has like a vibration in it. I even tried shifting into neutral and coasted at 60 mph and it did not make a difference so I think that would rule out the engine balance. My passenger felt it right away. I hope GM is at least working on this problem. Something has to be off somewhere.
