Hey guys, I just bought a 2015 Sierra Z-71 double cab, and I should have looked at this forum prior to buying it. I get pretty bad vibrations in the seats, center console, floor and pedals at 68mph or above. It's harmonical, so it's bad then it's not bad for like 1500ft, then back to horrible. I've contacted my dealer about having the tires road force balanced, but it doesn't seem like that is fixing the issue. I have the 5.3l with the 6 speed transmission, and it came with the 22" wheels and Bridgestone AT Tires. I haven't marked the tires to see if they're slipping, but something is definitely going on, and it's really discouraging. It doesn't seem like anyone has definitively had the issue fixed from the couple pages of what I've read here, and I have to say, my truck is near un-driveable on the highway at this point, it's so irritating. I noticed that the truck has a lot of rake, and it looks like most of them come like that, also the vibration almost feels like a bad u-joint, but if the u-joint was bad it would be doing it while driving around town and probably making noise as well. Just trying to brain storm, I'm at a loss for what it could be - my Tundra never had issues like this and until it gets fixed I guess I'll kind of be missing that truck.

Has anyone had any luck getting it fixed, besides the guy that had his whole rear-end worked a couple pages back?

I had the 70+ vibrations with the 22" Bridgestone Dueler A/T's and after a rebalance,(Not a Road Force Balance) and a tire rotation I have been OK for 1000 mile plus... I still follow this thread because I am concerned when I need to rotate the tires again... Good Luck to all of you still having issues...

Sincerely,

Dan

That's somewhat encouraging, thanks!

My vibes were good after visit 3 and who knows how many tires and RFB. Yesterday i got new Cooper ATP 275/65 18 and a slight but not as bad as the initial GY SRAs. Will hit a discount tire w a Hunter and get it ironed out asap

So I dropped my truck off last night at the dealer - I've had it exactly one week as of Monday. While I was there, I made sure to take the service guy for a ride to show him what I was talking about, and make sure that he acknowledged it was not supposed to be like that. While talking to him, he brought up the whole V4 shudder, and I knew it wasn't that - I didn't want to give him a reason to write it off, so I just told him I didn't think V4 mode was the problem, and took him up on the interstate. Sure enough, we hit about 73mph, and it started shaking pretty bad in the seats, floor, center console etc. He looked puzzled and agreed the truck should not be riding like that. He further stated that he was confident it was a tire issue due to the fact that it doesn't happen during low speeds, during take-off, or during deceleration. I don't really buy that, but I just agreed and was happy he was seeing the same issue as I was. So.. they have my truck, I have a loaner with the 4.3 V6, and my loaner does not have the vibe - albeit, the loaner is a nutless pig, that sounds like a Honda with a fart can, at least it doesnt vibrate up the highway. So I guess I'll wait to see what they say, and when I pick it up, I'm going to make them go for a ride with me again so we can verify the vibration is gone. I'm not all that hopeful in some senses, but, fingers crossed...

On our first 1500 Silverado they replaced ours and it did make a slight difference but did not solve the problem. We went through the BBB process and ended up settling on a 2015 Sierra and they've just replaced the shaft on this one as well. We'll be filing again with the BBB again shortly. Sorry - but for us and our two trucks the shaft didn't fix it.

Well my situation is no different. Just got the truck back today and it still vibrates. I asked the mechanic what he thought after driving it and he said it felt better. I asked him how far he drove it and he said a couple of miles. I took it 10 miles down the expressway and it shook as if nothing had changed from when I dropped it off. Called a different dealer 35 miles away from where I live and they are very aware of the problem and are willing to check it out tomorrow. This will be the fourth and last time for repair. After this, if not fixed I am going for the buyback.

By no means am I mechanically inclined. I've read a lot of the threads that have been posted about this topic. I noticed that a lot of the vehicles mentioned in this thread, that are experiencing this problem seem to be the: Sierras, and Silverado's...if im not mistaken.

My question is: As anyone seen a posting about the Denali's experiencing this problem. I drive a 15, Sierra Denali, CCSB, 5.3L, 4x4. Im knocking on wood, But I have not experienced this problem. Obviously I have the Magnetic ride, so Im assuming there are certain aspects of my suspension that differ from the aforementioned vehicles. I was just thinking about this as i was driving my daughter to school. I have only gotten my vehicle up to around 65ish close to 70, and have not felt anything. I have 7500 miles so far. Just thought I'd ask, I truly hope GM comes clean and does the right thing for all of those affected by this issue. I know I would be livid.

jpmiami and ANDIE have Denali's with the vibration issues. I just went through my list of people who want to partner up for a lawsuit. I found those 2 in my first page
