Found a lawyer and sent the dealership and GM a final attempt to fix letter on my 2014 Sierra. Heard back from GM and they are setting it up with the dealership that I purchased it from. They could not fix it the first three times so I doubt anything will change.

Good Luck..... It took me four months from that point. I hope they treat you better than they treated me.

Ok so their are alot of pages here. And reading them makes me very parinoid so i stop reading. My 350 mile 2015 has a shake starting at 73 or 75 and goes a bit above 80. Flat expressway, 3.08 gear 18"s z71 crew. Can be minor or can shake the crap out of my arm rest of the bench, random in its intensity though usually lighter. Feels like in middle or rear of truck little feel in steering wheel. Is this the rear diff shim issue? Is their a bullitin on it to take to the dealer?

How serious are some of yalls issues? Reason I ask is I seem to have a vibration right around the speeds said (69-73mph) and the steering wheel shakes up and down periodically and the passenger seat shakes a bit. Should I take it in and address it with the service dept?

sorry to say, from what I've read here, yes there is. I havn't been on this forum super long, but ive seen multiple people saying they have had their rear diff's rebuilt/ replaced for vibration issues

So, I took mine in today. They did a forced balance on all 4 wheels. Here's the vid I took afterwards, absolutely NO difference...

that sucks man, mine isn't that bad, but it still miserable to be dealing with either way. try to get them to look at some of the things previously mentioned (driveshaft, rear diff, engine for excessive AFM shake, wheels and rims for proper roundness - not just rebalancing)

hope something works for ya

Mine has been at the dealer for 3 days now. shakes just like in the vid above mostly between 70 and 75. they checked the wheels said they were all within spec but they went ahead and re balanced them anyway. they test drove it and said problem was still there. next they swapped out the rims and tires with another truck and problem still existed. then they rotated those new wheels and tires still no difference. technician took another truck for a test drive and said it did the same thing and that it must be normal for these trucks.

service adviser is waiting on the service manager to make a decision on what to do next. i really like my truck hope it gets fixed.

Can others take some video's and post them here?

I'd like to use it as supporting documentation. You can never have too much info when dealing with the dealerships, and showing this is not necessarily an isolated case may be helpful.

don't take normal as acceptable answer its not normal its a huge issue GM has.

Has anyone dealt with a GM field engineer? I have one coming next week to look at my truck.

So we got our 2014 rally 2 back after the final repair attempt with GM engineers. Unfortunately the problem is not resolved. They road forced the tires again and two were replaced which did not fix the issue. Here are some videos for you all that we've taken. The first one is our truck before the final repair attempt. The second video is a loaner they gave us. The third video is our truck after we got it back from the dealer. Have to say we are super disappointed. We love our truck so much :(

We just got ours back from being with the GM engineers, they hooked up the PICO meter and drove it about 50 miles. They just changed out two tires. BUT our dealer has already road forced the originals tires, then changed out all four, after that they rebuilt the deferential and changed out the drive shaft. So they kind of did what they could already. Just really sucks :/ our dealership has been AMAZING to say the least and we are SO thankful they've stuck with us through all this. See my above videos for some reference.
