I just got another call from GM and the dealership stating that they are STILL waiting for this darn PICO scope to measure the vibration. A quick search on the internet and I did find this article on the GM Techlink site. While I don't think this would address my exact issue, I thought it was interesting. Sorry if this is a duplicate post.

And here is some information about how they do or SHOULD be doing a diagnosis on the vibration issue

well I got a voice mail from my dealer saying that someone from GM came in and drove my truck and there is nothing wrong with it.... Im feeling the tight torque converter which is designed that way so I get better gas mileage.

I have a 14 Silverado crew cab 4x4 and I have a vibration in pedal and floor when I am steady on the gas and it gets really bad when I hammer it on the interstate. Does anybody have a definite fix yet? I can't seem to find one. I also had the shutter at 30 mph when slowing down. I removed clips from rear wheel studs and got rid of it. Now I just need a fix for vibration. I have a 2.5 rough country leveling kit with new blocks in rear but from what I have read this should not be a problem, at least I hope not. I am planning on changing rear blocks back to stock to see if it goes away.

Let' see. "Someone" came and drove your truck. "You" weren't afforded the opportunity to be there. "You" don't know who "Someone" is. "You" do not know what specific expertise "Someone" has; but, since "Someone" was from GM, they must be right, you must be wrong, you cannot discuss the matter with "Someone" but since "Someone" is from GM, the case in closed in GM's favor. Maybe you could have "Someone" from Ford, Dodge, or Toyota drive the truck...wonder what they'd say.

You see nothing wrong with this picture?

I just got my truck back from the dealership for this issue. they had it for 6 days and balanced the wheels and replaced the driveshaft. they also tried to charge me for the balance but I refused to pay. they let it go after discussing for a few minutes. I then drove it to work with the same vibration I had 6 days ago. I called them and explained. now they are saying the tires are to blame( flat spotting overnight) . BS I say. so I googled 2014 Silverado vibration and found this thread on this site. didn't read all 248 pages , lol, but I now realize I am not alone. not good. one thing to note on my truck is the vibration is much more intense when the truck is cold eg: parked over night. after 10 minutes on the hwy its pretty much gone. 20" tires btw.

For all you members out there with Shakerado's. Ford has Vibrators too, I decided to make a video today showing the vibration of our new work truck, 2015 Ford F250. If I had a choice to buy a new truck it will be Ram of Toyota from now on.

well that's a new line of BS, at least they are being creative with making up new lies that don't make any sense.

with me they said since I drove a regular cab short wheel base truck for 37 years straight, obviously I just don't understand how short wheel base trucks feel and that that's just the way trucks ride lol.

It's over.

"The consumer and General Motors have reached the following agreement: The manufacturer will repurchase the consumer's vehicle per the standards of

the xxxxx lemon law. Rebates, incentives and any negative equity or over allowance will be deducted from the repurchase award. The consumer is responsible for returning the vehicle without any damage beyond normal wear and tear. The transaction will be completed within 30 days."

This is the e-mail I received from today from GM....

I also received an update from the District Manager over the dealership. He
stated that he was the driver of your vehicle yesterday, and he provided the
following information:

"I drove this truck today for vibration complaint. I did not feel any abnormal
vibration. We program the transmission to get the best possible fuel mileage,
and when we do that the torque converter is locked up in the highest gear
possible for that speed. Sometimes this causes the engine to lug (strain to pull
the truck). When that happens, you get vibration out of the driveline. When you
depress the throttle and give the engine more gas, the transmission will down
shift and the vibration goes away. Also with a stiff frame and suspension, along
with the short wheel base, you feel more road imperfections.

I have concluded this vehicle is performing normally and nothing else needs to
be done."

If you feel there is still a concern present with your vehicle, I would suggest
diagnosis by another GM dealer for a second opinion. In regards to a ride-along
with the service technician, that has to be noted and requested when your
appointment is set, as each dealer is independently owned and operated.

You should demand that you be present for another ride along to show the vibration.

yep, just like the times they reportedly fixed mine they kept saying it wasn't vibrating and when I questioned them they admitted they didn't even drive it on a smooth road at 70mph but instead drove it only on rough surfaced city streets at 35-40mph even though the service ticket said the problem was on smooth highways only and when doing 65-70mph.

they test drive it in a fashion or certain way to avoid the problem just so they can deny the problem exists.

another thing is if they ride with you the extra weight on the seat makes it vibrate less so they can say its minor
