My exhaust manifolds look just like that and did so from day 1. My 2007 looked like that too. I wouldn't worry though pretty much all of the Ecotec engines look like that to some degree. It was never an issue on my 2007 and I don't expect it to be on the 2014 either.

Still dealing with all of the same. Truck is back at the dealer after they offered to replace the Goodyear's with Michelins. Got a call last night saying the truck still has the vibration with the new tires and GM wants them to RF balance the new tires??? Why would they have put the new ones on without doing that knowing all the issues we all have. So this morning I get a call saying that all of the new Michelins were out of round and spec and that they are ordering 4 more new ones to try. I cant understand why they have not taken one of these vibrators in to their tech teams and designers at GM to figure this out and issue a fix, makes no sense to me.

I have a 2013 so I don't have a shake issue, but, my frame and cross members is rusted much more than I would like. After seeing the pics above I was wondering if any of you guys have looked under your truck and have similar issues with rust? I did a google search and its all over the internet but I dont see it discussed here.

it slipped off the first page what with the long long list of many issues these trucks have going on with them but here is the thread for the people discussing having frame rust issues

Like Jay Leno would never, never, never turn his car over for valet parking (see Jay Leno garage Challenger hell cat review 9 mins in, funny), I would never trust a dealership tire balance efforts. Find a good tire balancing shop. I have bought many. many Michelins LTX and sports for the last 30 years and had only one tire out of spec.

Yeah no way 4 new Michelins are out of round and spec.

One out of round/spec, maybe and that's a HUGE maybe.

Two, I doubt it.

Three, no f*****g way do I believe that.

Four: Ok I'm on a hidden camera show right?

Michelins are probably the least likely tire on the market to be out of round and spec. The dealership is just stalling.

Or getting tires from a bargain basement.

For any of you with the high speed vibration - have you tried shifting into neutral well above the speed where it starts shaking, and does that change the shake at all?

Has anyone answered this?

Dropsix I did try the neutral thing and different gears (as others have) with no change in vibration..

Now I did just pick up the truck from the Dealer with the four new Michelin's and the vibration is gone, for now. It does ride nice and these tires should be OE on these trucks. One thing I noticed on the drive home was that they are very quiet compared to the GY's, which was a surprise to me because I thought the truck was real quiet to begin with. The only time I could really hear them was on concrete sections of the highway. I have had this vibration issue in the past and was taken care of with four new GY's about 4000 miles ago. Now it rides smoother than it ever has but I am obviously concerned that the condition may come back. Also the exhaust was replaced for the whistle condition which is now gone also. Also I did run different speeds up to 94 mph and did not feel anything or see the passenger seat vibrate at all, so fingers crossed.

Does anyone have this issue with factory 22" wheels?

I had the issue with 22" after markets. Went back to stock 18's had vibrations with the good years put on new hankook winter pike tires and I have no vibrations anymore. I consider myself lucky for the time being.
