LED 921 Reverse & Cargo Bulbs

Philips led's 921 or Putco led's 921 - which are better ??? Philips are a lot cheaper .

 

I haven't tried Putco, but a reverse light can only be so dazzlingly bright and white. I have the Philips in my truck and they are top notch. The fact that they are cheaper means a lot. Also Philips is a veteran brand, been around forever in the lighting and electronics business since day one. Putco is just an aftermarket accessory company that makes lights and chrome stuff and I trust them way less with something technical.

I think i'm going to go with these so thanks for the advice, have you ran into any issues as far as life span? just to clearify ill need 2 for reverse, 2 for cargo and 2 for license plate correct? For some reason I thought there was 3 bulbs for the cargo lights. Thanks!

Got my Philips 921s today and i must say they do look a lot better on the vehicle. I cant say for certain about the overall light out put being higher, since i didn't do a direct comparison before switching out the standard bulbs. Blah blah long story short I like them. Anyway here are a couple phones for you to judge. All photos are with the parking break on and no break lights. Still waiting on the Philips 194s for the plate light

Yes I am using these in my truck. And as most have found, the Rear LED reverse lights just don't light of lie the 2007-2013. Due to the reflectors, its just has bars f light coming out. I will say that these are brighter than stock but its still hard to see the light.

I've been buying my led lights from aliexpress.com. I'm hard pressed to think they are different than the more expensive ones when they look the same. My reverse lights cost me $2.49 each with free shipping and look great. My headlights cost me $45 and look the same as the ones that cost over 100 dollars. My fogs lights cost me 15 for the pair. all with free shipping. I guess i'll have to see how long they will last. i even replaced the cabin lights on my wifes santa fe and it looks great. those were 10 for $5.

Just added 5k VLEDS bulbs for Reverse, Cargo & license plate lights. The white light looks good in the day but we'll see how well they do tonight. They matched my tow mirror LEDS perfectly.

 

I went with VLEDS because I have their bulbs in headlights and fogs, with zero issues. Very well made product.

I used Phillips 921s on my 2016 cargo and reverse lights. Like them so far.
